Occasionally I'll have no idea what to draw until I actually sit down to do it. In this case I had a brush pen, which is nice for drawing animal spots, so this is what I came up with >^..^<

Thanks! are you referring to the rough paper look? It's a free watercolor paper texture I snagged from somewhere awhile ago (I wish I could remember what site). Sometimes I'll get bored and go on a "royalty-free textures" saving spree haha.

That's probably it. I saw some fine-grain looking texture and so it's probably just an added effect from that. A happy little accident.
