Edit: AGHK... ok, I may update this, uploading it really killed some of the more subtle tones in the 'skirts' etc, kind of annoying, may update to fix it.
OK, so is yet another addition for my ongoing personal project. I won't explain too much about her (yes, 'her') right now, she's omni-present and features in the after-life within my world.
She was a lot of fun to paint, attempting a similar style to nakadaishimada.deviantart.com/β¦ of a year and a half ago, but I feel I've come a long way from that, and I'm glad to see it's improved.
Please, let me know what you think about the picture, comment and crits always welcome.
About 4-6 hour (something like that) all done in PS CS5.

Wow, I'm in love with this one ... it's just so dark and evil and magnificent. It really had a tortured, twisted vibe, I love that. Like, the little arms that are coming out of her armour, in contrast to the heavy, spikey gloves - creepy! But as I said, I'm loving it. The colours are amazing aswell, once again, and I especially liked how you got some of the outlines white, it really makes the whole character stick out. Good work!

Thanks very much! This character has been living in my head for quite a while. The ruler of the underworld in my fantasy world. She (yes, she) is a benign deity, neither supporting or fighting for any sides, only offering vague advice in riddle form. A distincly different style for me, painting this. A lot of fun though
