CLICK DOWNLOAD to get itDownload the zipfile, extract the whole folder, and then click the "Shimeji.exe" and a Jack should pop up on your screen 8D
So yeah, Jack won the poll (As expected...) so here he is~
This was FUUUNNNN, at first... I died after 10 frames... BUT I FINISHED IT. I'm so proud of myseeeelfffff~ Even though I got super lazy at the end... xD
For those who don't know what a shimeji is:
It's a small mascot that runs around on your screen, climb the sides, sometimes throw your windows outside of the screen... And you can throw him/her around as well... yeah...
Oh and they like to multiply themselves too, so if you leave your computer for a couple of minutes and there's like 10 of them running around when you get back, it's not a bug... xD

I finally discovered how to get this Jack Shimeji working on Windows 8. *^*

I don't really remember how I did it so I tried to re-do it just for you lol.
First I'd like to point out that I now have Windows 10. Anyways, I don't update my Java so when I clicked the Shimeji Application, I went ahead and downloaded the recommended files. After the DL, I went back and click on the Shimeji app again but the same dialogue box pops out saying to update my Java.Β
So instead clicking the Shimeji app, I clicked the Shimeji Executable Jar File and voilΓ ! Jack appeared!~
I dunno if this will help you but it helped me.

It doesn't work for me. Every time I click on theΒ "Shimeji.exe" part, a small window opens, and says something about Java.
It took me to a link to download Java but I already have it downloaded.
When I clicked again, the same window pops up.
THIS HAPPENS WITH ALL MY SHIMEJI DOWNLOADS!!!

I'm slightly getting upset, I try to open the exe and it pops with this Java Virtual Machine Launcher: Could not find the main Class: com.group_finity.mascot.Main.Program will exit.

Sorry if this seems like a bad comment.. I just thought maybe I could get advice for how to get this damn thing to work.. Incase you're wondering: I have stupid wndows 8 laptop and i want to slap it every time.. Because when i type.,sometimes it goes to the main title screen and i have to press " desktop " or it summons a new tab and i end up typing in the search bar...Or camera randoly pops up.. you see? I broke the hard drive on this laptop 3 times so far and had to get it wiped out and crap. =o= So..I thought i'd ask how to get it to work instead of beating up my laptop.. god NOW I HAVE NARRATOR GOING WTF ..... OK...CALM...just...calm.......im okay...just...i hate windws 8... keep it....away ...

Then I tried some trouble shooting option and it showed compatibility settings, and said it's compatible for Windows XP. But I have Windows 8.
And..that's it...I guess it doesn't work on other versions of Windows?

It works on windows 7 but since they completely changed the layouts on windows 8 I guess it doesn't work anymore ;_;

ahhh... How do i do this zipfile extracting stuff?! never had a shimeji so i dont know if i can use it or not. my friend uses Jack as an RP character i think... if not urs then another idr wat he looks like... >~< please help i really wanna get a shimeji to run on the screen ; u ;
PS: I'm kinda dumb so if u tell me how to do this stuff go step by step with like.. obvious descriptions cuz sometimes im really oblivious o~o;

If you just click open on the file you download, you'll get the zip-file. The only thing you have to do from there is to drag the folder you'll see inside the zipped folder to anywhere on your computer, like your desktop, and voila 8D
