The first of 20 Scions I got to paint. Going with a different color scheme for these guys since they don't belong to my Guard regiment.Related content

How have you found the kits in terms of posability/diversity? For the plasma gun, how feasible is it to have a different pose? (Was thinking of taking a medpack arm and swapping the medpack with a melta(?) fuel canister from the SM devastators instead of a pointing hand to have unique poses)

Honestly the kits are very limited in the arm department. On all the hot shot lasguns they sculpted two hands on them, so you're sort of required to use both the correct arms. Plus you have to make sure to use the correct backpack to make sure the power cable lines up to the rifle. Any conversions are going to take a fair bit of work, but they come with a bunch of extra bits. Like 19 heads total and spare hotshot lasguns in holsters.

So a similar workability to Space Marine Scouts, then? Alright, at least they look cooler

i never really liked the new Scions it's like they just scaled down Space Marines/Grey Knights into guardsmen.
