do you use regular wrapping paper on your cake boards or is that design a food foil?

so you do wrapping paper with a transparent foil over it so that the oils from the cakes and stuff wont mess up the wrapping paper!!! great idea! ive been trying to come up with away to use wrapping paper and you def helped! thanks!!!
