Yes! This is the final award for my contest last year, a species design for khyterra ! I sat on this for a long time, but I think it paid off and made something alot of fun, I hope you like it! And i'm sorry it turned out rainbow! A little more about the specifications of these creatures-

The request was for them to be quote: "...alien, really vaguely humanoid nautilus/horseshoe crab/snail hybrid with way too many little legs and grabby face tentacles. They are robot scientists bent on conquering the world (but they are not especially mean-spirited and are actually terrible at conquering anything, though their robots are really quite extraordinary)."

I was really considering giving them some synthetic and robotic limbs, but it was becoming too busy, and I wanted to show maybe what the default species looks like BEFORE they decide to attach new limbs [or replace them] among other things. Also, the weird angle is to show off their lovely pretty carapace. Their undersides look a lot like the underside of a horseshoe crab, if anyone was wondering . And their colors are based off of mantis shrimp, because mantis shrimp are awesome, and the intent was to make these guys aquatic, or at the very least aquatic in origin. :]
