awe thanks so much... try to channel impressionism and just do like random small erratic strokes with one shade all over..then use a different color and do the same. the less order the more realistic i think...let me know if that helps!

Nice job! your water looks great with the lights and darks, I can see you know the difference between a pure reflection and what is shadow in water, I think you did very well on this work...
