Moar babies! I like to have my babies in twos apparently. Except Taliesin is a few months older than Raven. Hopefully you can tell by the size...and that he's part draft horse. But that's irrelevant. Taliesin was half designed by *Katha88 for me!

These two are Heinz 57 horses. 8D You know how much I love those.

"I'm so excited! Another foal!" Mailin said, clapping her hands together as the trailer delivering the accidental offspring of Kiefer came rolling into Hollow Grove. "One isn't enough?" Jamison said jokingly, poking her gently in the side, and she smacked his hand away. "I imagine he'll still go in the mare pen for a while, even though he's weaned. The stallion pen is a war zone." Even with Calamity Jane, there was definitely more tranquility in the mare paddock than the stallion. Toryn was a tyrant and liked to keep all his horses in check. Jamison felt like he'd have to fear for the little fella's life constantly in there. "Hopefully one of the mares will adopt him, right?" Mailin asked, and Jamison rubbed the back of his neck. "I don't know. I hope he doesn't bond too closely to any of them. He's gotta grow up and move on at some point."

Jamison opened the trailer and out strode the little sooty palomino on his stilt legs, trying not to tumble over himself on the ramp. Jamison snorted in amusement, while Mailin looked like she might try to go over and catch the poor thing if he did fall. "Let's get him in there and see how he does." Jamison said, leading the colt over to the mare pen and letting him loose. Immediately he headed straight for Raven, born only a few days before, who was wobbling under her mother trying to suckle. When she realized her meal was being interrupted, Raven took a careful look at the new horse, unsure of this invasion of space. And yet there he was, directly inside of it. "The apple didn't fall far from THAT tree, did it?" Jamison asked, admiring the light wavy locks that the new colt was already sporting. "No, it didn't." Mailin said, looking over at Kiefer, who was oblivious to the arrival of his progeny and was grazing peacefully next to Finn. "What do you think we should call him?" Mailin said, cocking her head to the side. "Oops?" Jamison replied, and she hit him in the stomach. "No." "Umm...Mistake?" "That didn't stick too well to 'Halo'" "I hate how you girls get THAT tone of voice when speaking of her. She's completely lovely." Mailin rolled her eyes and chuckled. "He's a child of chaos." Sounded kind of familiar to her. She was one too. "Distraction?" Jamison said and Mailin's brows furrowed. "You aren't even trying." "I don't have any idea! We can't really play off her father's name and we already have something that would cause a spook in Ghost." Jamison said, trying harder now. "Maybe something simple like Outlaw." "I can only imagine how many Outlaws there are. Didn't you breed someone to an Outlaw?" "True..." Jamison pondered a little longer. Thinking of some of the horses they had now, often named after Celtic gods, Jamison shrugged. "What about Taliesin?" Mailin hadn't been as interested in that sort of thing as Jamison had been when he was younger, so she gave an unknowing shrug. "He escaped from a witch by being thrown into sea and caught in a net. He was considered to be very clever, but I think it was just divine intervention. I think this pretty fella is divine intervention." "Then Taliesin it is." Mailin said, smiling as she watched him snuggle into the baby Raven, who looked wary but at least receptive to his affections. Her mother Rose couldn't care less.

He shows affection easily, but when he gets his affection scorned he is hurt and can go into bouts of depression. His love of other living creatures does not help him maintain his composure, however. He is a drama queen when it comes to small things, and will make large deals out of nothing if you don't correct him quickly. And he DOES need quick correction, otherwise he will take advantage. Taliesin uses his charm to get away with complete murder.

She has seemingly made very little connection to her mother (which is a surprise to no one) and does things just for the sake of doing them. She seems to put up with the various facets of her life, such as the other horses or human attention, and does not care whether they stay or go. Though Taliesin is very interested in her, she doesn't care a lick about him. When interacting with humans, she does what she is told but is indifferent to treats or reinforcement of any sort. She does not care to be petted and is unflinching at punishment. She rarely needs to be punished, though. She is a good horse, who does what she is told and stays out of the way for the most part.
