I love drawing these horses
So fun! Surprisingly they don't take that long either o.0Continuing on with the specific colour paintings. Painting with purple was pretty fun.
As usual, used hard round brush with pen pressure on. Horse is all drawn on one layer

Yeah, that's the type of backgrounds I love the most, so it makes the main object of the picture stand out and looks pretty at the same time

^^. I actually find using just one colour a lot easier than doing normal colours. All you have to do is gradually increase the lightness or darkness of the shade of whatever colour you use ^^.

That it certainly does ^^ I think those who can paint with acrylics are talented indeed, acrylics just end up annoying me haha. Never goes smooth when I want it too ^^

Yeah agree here, I never manage to get something look good with acrylics...I like to add some details, but that's much easier with coloured pencils then with acrylics...or not to mention watercolors ^^

Ah I think watercolours are even more annoying than acrylics! The only paint I really like using is oil paint, because with that (even though I've only used it twice before) you can layer like you would in photoshop, and you can get nice smooth effects from it too.
The few times I have messed around with watercolour I hated the fact that the colours bled. Didn't like the lack of control I had with them hehe...

Yeah tell me about it! You really need alot skills and patience to work with watercolors, I haven't managed to make something good so far xD But I acctually never used oil paint before, so I can't really share my opinion about that
