Wow! Intense is an understatement in testimony of this piece! Kopa's fierce and protectiveness of Kovu is heartfelt! I really would like to read a story with these two!

Wow, really? Then probably a misadventure in the elephant graveyard. Adventurous Prince Kopa sneaks away from the Pridelands and goes to meet with his outlander friend, Kovu. He promises to take Kovu to a secret place just beyond the Prideland's borders on neutral territory, so they can play and have fun unimpeded. Kovu readily agrees, of course, and the two set off. But when Kovu starts to notice where they're going, he gets uncertain and tries to warn Kopa of the stories he's heard from his mother about hyenas roaming the area. Kopa then refutes this by claiming that his father chased the hyenas off after Scar's reign came to an end. Kovu goes quiet after this, knowing how much the Outlanders--especially his mother--idolized Scar and blamed Simba for his death. Sensing his friend's melancholy, though, Kopa assures Kovu with a comforting nuzzle and friendly words. And somewhat placated, Kovu continues to travel with him without complaint.
When they arrive at the Elephant Graveyard, they comment on how spooky and desolate the place looks and decide to explore. During the exploration, Kovu takes wary notice on how some of the bones still have bits of flesh and fresh blood on them, as opposed to the other ones. Kopa shrugs off this concern, however, and states that it wasn't uncommon for predators to dispose of their prey's bones here. No Pridelanders do this, but he's heard that non-affiliated hunters did. Not as knowledgeable as Kopa on that front, Kovu accepts his reasoning and they continue to explore.
Geez, I think I'm getting WAY too into this. Basically, I just want them to stumble upon a group of feasting hyenas, are discovered, and have to run for their lives. Kovu gets side-swiped by one along his cheek and is injured. Kopa then snaps and roars at them bravely to "Don't touch my friend!" which halts the hyenas momentarily with how vehement and deafening the cubby roar was. The fleeing cubs take advantage of the derailed hyenas and manage to get away. On the way home, Kopa apologizes profusely to Kovu for getting him injured, but Kovu says he's okay--"Just a scratch! No biggie!" But unsatisfied and guilty, Kopa takes his time and carefully licks away the blood to clean it. Shocked and totally embarrassed, Kovu can do nothing but stand stock-still through it all. Afterwards, Kopa nuzzles him again and says: "You're not just my friend, you're my best friend." And Kovu, elated and tingly, nuzzles his friend back with a blissful smile on his face.

Although I'm not a yaoi fan, but I simply love the way you draw Kopa looking like Nala, plus this art can be viewed as friends too to some eyes.
I actually would have loved SP to focus on friendship instead of just romantic love so the thought of Kopa and Kovu meeting each other would have made a cool movie too. Of course with Kiara being born too.

Well, changing Kiara for Kopa I decided not to change much the main idea of the TLK SP plot. Soooo these guys still are not allowed to play with each other (just like Kovu and Kiara from SP). So they ran away together without any permission( there couldn`t be another way) and here the result is. Ran into hyenas in outlands
