They may seem weird at first but when you watch the actual show, the animation was actually really fluid! I was actually a little iffy about the designs at first too but then it grew on me FAST. Give the show a chance someday, you might like it.

Animation quality is not the problem. It's the overall artistic look of the reboot that's the problem. The 2013 cartoons of Mickey Mouse may have animation that feels like it's very fluid, but it still looks embarrassingly cheap compared to Walt's classic Mickey cartoons or even House of Mouse (and if it's animated with programs like Flash, then there's always going to be that awkward mechanical feeling to the animation anyway).
If I give Disney any sort of chance to bring back some of their older classics of The Disney Afternoon, then I expect them to look just as good today as they did before, not to bring them back as a cheapened embarrassment to the original. If I want to see Darkwing Duck or Gargoyles brought back, then I want to see the same amount of artistic work put into them now that was put into them back when they were originally made in the 90's.
So no, I will not be giving the reboot a chance, because they already blew that chance. As long as there still has to be a superior version of the show to watch in terms of artistic quality, then I'm only going to continue watching that version if they aren't going to be just as good with the reboot.
