_Nothing really fancy,
a simple wallpaper by one who think the combines look quite snazy.
If anyone wonders, I composed the pic (posed the soldier) myself in Garrysmod for Half Life 2,
And finished it in Photoshop.

Combine soldiers use outdated SPAS-12 shotguns.
Old human weapons still in a wide use bechause there are a lot of them.
Combine Pulse weapons can be rather expensive and require some resources which don't exiost on Earth.
So these guys can be seen with AK, AR-15/M-16, HK 416, Tar-21, G36, FN FAL/SCAR and many other contemporary firearms.

They are actually modified people in full padded body armour with a distinctive helmet design with an alien touch to it, (For dehumanizing purposes)
The Combine as an empire consist of insect like aliens.
