Description so this is the second one I finished today. I have a third but it will take me some time as it will be more three dimensional like the other piece I want to photograph. These are all just little experiments to see how I can get the water to react with the subject. It's pretty fun and very calming. Let me know what you think

it is, I was working on another one of them today. My first try at a double dip, LOL. we'll see how she comes out. I had a friend over who wanted to see how I do it. After I got the initial print off of the water, we both stood over it with little bits of rice paper waiting for the ink to stop revolving so we could get prints off of what was left in the pan. truly enormous geekery, I know, but it was a great thing to share with someone else who loves to learn.

that can be arranged if we do a con in common and a moment in a nearby hotel with a litter pan of water. I would just need warning so that I can bring the ink.

Wonderfully evocative series you have going here! This technique really suits your style of illustration. I'm looking forward to seeing how you incorporate this into your other projects.

thank you so much! I have some others I REALLY want to submit also, but they need to be photographed because they are three dimensional. I'm practically jumping out of my skin waiting to post them.

Lovely series~ And this one is especially striking; the profile! I love it! It reminds me a bit of art nouveau style

I love that style. It has inspired a bunch of pieces actually, some that are posted on here. It's either the line work or the jewel-tone colors that I try to embrace. I simply adore the controlled decay that is in the feel of a lot of the true nouveau pieces. That is such a big compliment, thank you

It's cool I like how the wash matches her form it kinda looks like she is turning into mist or teleporting like night crawler.

LOL, that was what I hoped for but it is SO hard to get it to do what you want. I tried to have a little more restraint with this one and have the pattern be more centralized in the pan of water.

thank you so much! I am using a very ancient technique where I float the ink on water. I have been trying to get the patterns to embrace the subject on the page... it's kinda hard. I'm so glad that I did this one right Thank you for letting me know that you like her.
