p.s. I am a huge fan of how you kept Link in love with Zelda and vice versa, becauuuse I feel like that's staying true to the characters/the game. Or.. at least my perception of the game. In Oot and Oot manga they seem to care deeply about each other

I love it so far, can't wait to see more. The storyline is so well thought out and the characters are easily to get attached to. You have such amazing talent if only you could show Nintendo this to make a game out of it hahaha would have been awesome. Oh and just me and my wondering thoughts...Dark Link...He has a thing with trees doesn't he...Link always seems to see him near a tree (like the dead tree in the water temple and stuff) was this done on purpose or was it pure coincidence. ^_^; whoops sorry Just me blabbing on speaking my thoughts out loud, my bad.

Actually, Dark Link appearing or being near a tree in Lurking Shadows has been done on purpose, both for the Water Temple reference and also because trees were the safest place for Dark Link to sleep as a child as monsters could not reach him there (he was abandonned and left to die by Ganondorf and Dark Link only found solace and peace up a tree). He stays in trees mostly by habit as a young man, but when he feels insecure he can also be seen sitting in a tree. You should take a look at this : [link] This when Dark LInk was born and when he was as pure and kind as Link...

You are very welcome, Its great to see people who have a natural talent of drawing and that they show it to the world, Its just beautiful and very welldone, very inspirational. Here's hoping they accept it and either #1 publish it with you or #2 get inspired to make a game. Or even if they enjoy reading then that in itself is worthwhile ^_^.

The drawing is amazing, and what you said in your comment is true, everyone kinda likes dark link in a way either because he is interesting or they want to give him love (seeing as he didn't receive any when he was younger). I love your OC's and fit nicely in your story and I LOVE link haha (who wouldn't) his nature matches that of Ocarina of Time, he seems sweet and kind but still has that spark of being an awesome fighter, I seriously can't wait to read more, and find out more of their fates. >///< XD

Thank you very much for your great comment! Well, I indeed have a lot in store for Lurking Shadows that was originally meant to be a short story (but being faithful to my habits, it became not a big, but a HUGE story with many plot twists and many unique characters). And while I really like working on this project, what I like the most is the love people give to it when they read my story and follow it dutifully! It feels me with happiness!!!
As I am now on vacation for two weeks, I am very likely to post new pages! I hopoe you will enjoy them as well!

Yes, he is for the time being...
LOL!!! Dark Link is quite small in the last panel, and I had to zoom in a lot on my screen in order to draw him! However, Dark Link was drawn that small on purpose.
What can be seen behind Dark Link is a food stand, the same one as the one seen at the market in the original game. However I am not so talented with backgrounds, so it might not be obvious.
I already begun working on the next page and page 37 will be pretty nice as there will be a few close-ups of Dark Link and Ryan will be seen again. It should be ready soon!

Well, Dark Link has precise plans for Link, or the Hero of Time as Dark Link calls him, and he mentionned a few of them when he contacted Link through Link's nightmare. However there is a precise reason as of why he is curently following and keeping an eye on Link without attacking him right away... Eventually the puzzle pieces will get together and will form the answer...
