Since I don't know the fanfic, I can't comment further. I would think he's missing Kagome and the act as well as the all powerful scent would take him to that place within where she still resides. But since I don't know what's going on...

hehehe I did it wrong , the part of Kagome had to be under the inu part. and when I was drawing it, I forgot that Inu doesn't have to do that lol

You should have said you had it upside down.
Inuyasha is still embarrassed to be smelling flowers but obviously he picks them as a gift because their scent is just like Kagome, soft and sweet, if intoxicating.
