I find that very interesting, because when you can do it well it adds depth to an image in unique ways. I may try it myself. What areas would you normal add texture do you find? Like clothing, items, background etc. I dunno if skin would always want texture for example.

nah nah, I don't use textures at all, I prefer to have natural control over my drawing (or, in other words, I simply have no idea how to fit textures into drawing XD). I sharpen face, sometimes hands, pieces of clothing/jewellery - and blur background, sometimes hair and clothing that are in the further distance... Then I add very very delicate noise, usually RGB. But it really differs! Sometimes textured skin looks good, sometimes not

they are called night elves, anna ignoranna. pity you have to draw so much, you have no time for WoW, you would LOVE it! like i love you, though it's tough love when you leave me home alone for so many hours to enjoy your lab work.
