We were driving home from Ieranto, in a rush to go to dinner - but of course - we had to stop the car to get pictures of this beautiful sunset!The islands in the photo are Ischia and Procida.
Alone With The Sea - Hurt
Once there was an old ocean
Where anyone who saw it
Grew old with the sea
So we were terrified of water
Of all the sons and daughters
No one dared to see
And on the banks of the coastline
I tracked a bleeding loved one
Whose blood was mingling
And the saltiest of waters
'cause apparently they faltered
Never again to be seen

You know, I was bored at work today and when I saw this I decided to mess with it in Photoshop. I balanced the RGB and the result was very appealing to my eyes. Not to say that the original doesn't... I like it just fine as it is, but when I look at it I can't help but try to picture it with cooler colors. Granted, I wasn't there for this so I have no way of knowing what it looked like. Sun rises and sun sets can be a pain because there are so many color variations. I really love the positioning and how the clouds seem to tapper your attention around the whole sky. You did an excellent job capturing a clear color gradient. I love it! Thank you for the critique! I tried to stay with the natural colors - it's very tempting to make them "better." I found that the sunsets I get in the Mediterranean have such amazing colors already - I don't want to play with them!
