First of all, very interesting object, looks very nice
I have two points of view at one photo :
- it looks a little bit like stock image without background and I think it would be better with some details at back [more retro style]
- however... thanks to this empty, white area, I can focus at camera, what's pretty cool

Thank you for your critique. I was actually trying to focus only on the camera so I was placing it on the table with back light. This is the effect I tried to obtain and was working quite well. At that point had no retro background to be suitable with the camera.
