Pretty much in noticeable ways of the things you mentioned. I know it's true they can both appear calm and collected at least, but it's a facade more for Jafar and his real psychopathic tendencies show through often. He abuses his minions and is an emotional sadist where enough of his grinning and laughter comes from when he's not being cunning or scheming. I'm not sure if you meant in how they appear also visually or how they appear in general from their kind of personality, but in either of those things, some differences are clear
As far as Toffee, he keeps his calm and collected appearance solid often and doesn't grin very much, in which his confident and collected grins didn't happen more until during and after his possession of Ludo. He even talks collected 98% of the time, barely showing very much energy or varied emotions in his mannerisms.
I probably could go on, but I didn't wanna create a small text wall lmao. So yea, I'm aware of characters' similarities but the differences outnumber them

Toffee is ridiculously attentive and intelligent, not to mention that he actually is aware of others. I think the only real reason he failed in... well, whatever he was up to and was "destroyed" because he became TOO confident and rushed forward. I believe he will come back. This also makes me realize that we never knew what Toffee was originally doing in the monster-human war... All we know is that he was the general of the monster army, and that Queen Moon cut off his finger; that it could never regenerate due to the Whispering Spell (at least, until it's given back by the caster.) What was his plan before? Who knows. But after the Moon incident Toffee probably wanted to see the Royal Family fall, like he did all those years ago.

I know they're undoubtedly going to explain what Toffee's plan for after the wand was destroyed is next season, but I hope they explain the missing finger too. Both how he lost it, and why he doesn't just grow a new one.

My theory that his severed finger is hidden away, and that it's in safe keeping just in case something happens to Toffee. So if Toffee was destroyed, his severed finger will probably regenerate a new body with all his memories intact, and start over from where he left off.
