and im not too good at explaining things to anyoneee
but what i do is when im done with the line art i do all the flat colors in separate layers and i set it to the preserve opacity setting so its easier to stay in the lines
then i shade it in using the brush tool set to the rough_flat shape
probably not the best explanation but i guess thats kinda the gist of it
