I'm so glad those themes came thru in the piece. This one was was totally inspired by music from the phenomenal new cd from the Tedeschi Trucks Band "Revelator. (which I have been listening to constantly since it was released) If you aren't familiar with Susan or Derek, they are both steeped in the 60's and 70's blues revival traditions established by Bonnie and Delaney, The Allman Brothers and Eric Clapton. I love the vintage rock concert posters from this era, and it was that style as well as the music that propelled this piece.
