This is a drawing of Yami Yugi and Yugi Muto from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. As most of you know Katerina is now one of my friends. To celebrate this I guess you could call it I did this drawing. Both her and I love Yu-Gi-Oh! quite a bit. Plus for this group she role plays Yami Yugi and I role play Yugi Muto for this group . (Since we go by the Japanese anime and manga his name is spelled Yuugi Mutou.)
I have known her for a little while, but I feel like we are already friends. The reason for the title "Wanting to be close!" is, because we would love meet it other some day. Yet this is something that can't happen right now. I feel as though she really is Yami and I really am Yugi in terms of who we are as people in real life, so that is why they are in this drawing. I took lots of time to make this drawing the way it is. I am proud of the results and this is going to go on my wall to remind me of are new friendship. Katerina, thank you for being such a great friend and I hope that someday you and I can meet. For that day will be truly amazing when it comes. Plus thank you for covincing me to start reading the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga.

That's so good! It is so hard to draw two people together! I love the expressions you've drawn and I love the colours, especially the shading on their bangs. Keep it up, I want to see more like this.

Thanks and I worked really hard to make it this way. It is actually hanging on my wall near my deck as we speak. I agree with you and this is the third time I have drawn these two together. I always love how the expressions for my characters comes out too. The shading with there bangs is something I believe I have mastered. Of course I can always do better. Don't worry you will see more like this.

Glad you like it. I love it so much that it is hanging on my wall right now. I get to look at it every day and be reminded of my friendship with Katerina. Yeah I am glad too. That is what I wanted it to do. Plus since Katerina is Yami and I am Yuugi in the group I thought this was perfect. Plus in real life she relates to Yami alot and I relate to Yuugi alot. Wow I never really thought about it that way and it does fit well. I will have to tell Katerina this. Thanks so much.

Indeed it is. That is true and for me this is the first time that has happened, so I am having this feeling for the first time, but I have to say I love this feeling alot. Yep I remember that moment in the anime well. True and you are an amazing person to RP with and I enjoy learning new things about Yu-Gi-Oh! and what not from you. That is are special bond. I like over using this concept of a bond too much. ^_^

Anyway, Thank you so much for honoring me by complimenting me as Yami. I really want to roleplay as much IC as possible and to hear from someone that I reminded him/her of Yami is more than great pleasure yet alone listening that I gave you the impression you were Yugi and I was Yami in an Out Of Character conversation... You can understand that this means a lot to me. Even if I know that my roleplay is not THAT great and it is far from perfect. I still have long way to go to understand "Yami's Heart" and become...one with him when I roleplay!
I feel the same and it is true we will have...trouble to meet but I hope one day we will...
This picture is really made with too much love and I can see the effort you put to make it! It is really touching. Yugi is reaching out to Yami trying to come close to him and Yami does the same...waiting for him to come... I also love the choice of colors you used and the color of background is really sweet and reminds me of the sky and reminds me of something I heard... that sky is endless and no matter what we are walking under the same sky... So perhaps one day we can meet... At least that is the message I get from the colors and the title of your image...

Your welcome. I am sure it does and for some people they wish that they could be just like a certain character. I mean in terms of the personality and who they are is close to that character, but not exactly the same as that character. After what you told me in that conversation we are still having through are RPing accounts I could how much like Yami you are. Plus through all of the knowledge I have gained about Yuugi and the RPing I have done as him so far. (Most of this has been with you in some way.) I have found out that I am so much like Yuugi in almost ever way. This is why Yuugi is such a role model to me. That is why I thank you for being one of the people to help me realize this. I am sure you will do more of that in the future.
I think you are doing a great job as Yami right now and I understand about not fully understanding his heart. I am at that point with Yuugi too, but I will continue to RP Yuugi and also watch him in action in the anime and read about him in the manga. That is some of the best ways I will better understand Yuugi. I am sure you can understand Yami's heart in the same way. I am proud to talk about such a great person, because that is what you are. Also like I said in are long conversation there are very few people who understand me, but you are one of them. This is why I felt like I had to do something for you.
Glad you do and I have made it one of my places to travel to Greece. I love the famous buildings there and when I come I can try meeting you if we could make it work. Plus there are some other friends here on dA of mine that are from Greece.
Yes and you could say I put my heart into it. That is exactly what I was going for in this drawing. Yeah I was playing around with some of the colors. Since I draw these two alot I have certain colors I use every time. That is a nice way to think of it. I have heard that somewhere before as well. Yeah I am sure we will meet some day. It is the message, because the wanting to be close part is wanting to meet each other, but right now we are far apart and not sure when it will happen. Yeah I always love drawing faces and hair.

I said that, because of the conversation we had been having. Indeed we all do. That is an interesting way of putting it. For me I have to continue to see my characters in action in the anime and read more about them. That way events are fresh in my mind. Plus it can help me to understand a character better.
