i had the unique pleasure of watching the cheeky do a version of this particular character while we were chatting and doing a screen share. it was like she was doing a personal live stream so i feel very special. You did an amazing job with this, and i applaud you. Of course i am a guy and i still want a piece of that alien ass hahahaha. well done!

it was really cool to watch. I would say i learned something, but cheeky moves so quickly when she works it was hard to keep up. So what i learned was that i have alot to learn about using the program haha.

I can imagine :3 Haha, and I know the feel; the only reason I learn anything from speedpaints is because I can go back and watch it again 👍: 0 ⏩: 1

i think i want to work on saving money up and buying property just to have one of the ridiculously large rooms where there is a huge desk with not much on it. but my desk will have everything i have on it now within arms reach but that still leaves a huge amount of room for reaching hahaha. i love watching speed paints, but it's very hard for me to keep up since i'm still new to it all. i still miss the feel of the pencil in my hand. the feel of the graphite scraping on the different grades of paper. you have alot of good stuff girlie, keep it up!!! but not too well before i despair and throw my stylus into the ocean and make a deal with the sirens.

Pff. You would need very long arms.
Speedpaints are really great~ Being able to see the technique and brush types and settings and sizes...it's all so helpful~
I don't have much of a miss for it Heh, no reason to give up because of me, or anyone for that matter. I continue to get better so I can compete and collaborate with the people who inspire me -w-

if only you knew what was on my desk your statement would be so true. One of the biggest problems is finding chords to reach from one thing to another all into the computer tower.
most of all of the speed paints i have watched, i must admit are set to the sound of some heavy metal and it doesn't show all the side bars and all the menu's. So that has been a problem. So mostly i can't really see the "techniques" aside from the "pen-strokes"~
omg, how do you not miss it? do you not have fingers and hands? (if not then ignore that and assume i'm a punk asshole. actually, it's best just to assume that hahahahah.) But seriously, how do you not miss the texture? i like my digital pad for the feel of computer paper and certain mech pencils, but that is not the full spectrum of everything for sure!!!! Oh don't worry, i'm not giving up, i'm just a "jack of all trades" so i have to test and play with it, and see if i can find all the things i find similar. I AM GLAD YOU ARE TRYING TO GET BETTER!! we should never stop learning, of that i am certain. BTW your most recent collab with ten and what's his green face was pretty cool. i looked it up/saw it, and i got to ask about who got what "chores" and what not. It turned out amazing.
As far as competing, i can only say that i am always competing against myself and i cannot say that i always win. I'm sure you know what i mean.

Heh. Well then I guess I'm lucky with my 3ft tablet cord and such
I rarely find heavy metal ones, I guess it would be the theme of the drawing. I tend to find poppy or Nightcore songs, to go along with the speed of the video. Those are the ones I prefer anyway. And usually as long as it's a program I'm familiar with, I'm able to at least guess at what they've done - I'm usually most interested in the stroke people make for line variation as well as how they shade, which are all well telegraphed since they're in the center of the screen generally.
It's because I'm not as good with traditional art. The feeling is pleasant enough but I have 10 times more attachment to the control my tablet gives me. That was proven to me when I was forced to only draw traditionally for an extended period of time and it physically and emotionally hurt me to only be able to draw that way.
My character Tid you mean. Thank you.
As long as that's satisfactory, that's all anyone can ask of you. Finding the balance of self reflection and comparative desire is important I think.
