Oh! What's this!? New OCs hot of the press! not really I posted this on my twitter last week

Meet my JJBA ocs: Kale and Kala. Kale is older - he's in college studying Interior Design. His stand is called LoveTaker - it's main ability is energy absorption. Kale can absorb a living organisms energy and use it in defensive blasts. He can't keep it in once he's absorbed it he has to fire it out of his hands. He can only absorb energy through direct contact with his hands - hence the gloves (Rohan gave him those). Kala is in the same grade at Josuke and it was only after I went back to rewatch the series that I noticed only Yukako wears a blue fuku - the other girls at school wear green but whatever. Kala's stand is called HeartBreaker and allows her to change her density. She can concentrate it to any part of her body to make her punches harder or herself lighter so she can run faster. She also has some slight seismic control as when she gets scared or angry the ground shakes around her. They both have some form of empathy - Kale's is stronger but it basically means they can sense a persons intent when they concentrate. Their stands don't have physical manifestations but when in use they get that pink aura thing.

Keeping with the Jojo tradition of music references their stands names come from a Pat Benatar song. However their appearance is pulled from TLC. Kale has T-boz's hair cut and Kala has Left-eye's hair and penchant for marks under her left eye. And if you even need inspiration for a Jojo character look no further than 90's R&B - it's basically what Araki did and why I love JJBA so much. Seriously when looking at pictures of TLC I noticed about... seven different anime that pulled from their style to make their characters. It's awesome!

Man, this was hard - I haven't drawn any kind of anime style in years. Hell I haven't drawn anything other than my own style in years. And Araki style is one of the more diffucult styles out there. It's super distinctive and just one thing will throw it all off but I feel like I did... ok. I never added his crazy crosshatch shading but I know my limit here. And I know their shoes are not Araki style but I hate penny loafers so my characters get boots and sneakers
