Let me explain both economically and socially. First of all, Disney, in many countries, can legally be called a monopoly, as it has almost no competition from either Viacom or Time Warner in various markets. So to them, nothing (Almost) is off limits to them. Americans and people in general should be furious at Disney. Socially speaking, Disney's recent purchase has literally put other companies up in arms. DC comics has actually been adding so much sexual material and other crap to make it appeal as little as possible to Disney, it's quality has been declining.

The more I think about the Spider-man ordeal the more it miffs me out. o__o
And honestly, the TMNT one really didn't surprise me a whole lot. Even though I felt really mixed about it. Lets hope they take care of our green, mean, fighting machines. <3
