To think all that time before I just thought that because that's how he was described in what little I'd seen of him at that time. It wasn't until I saw the word Dhampir to describe Alucard and I was like "what?" then I checked, and I was like "Oh!" and the more I read on his wiki page, the more sense it made.
Also, didn't know what of the higher quality stuff was fan art and official art at the time being new to the franchise and all. It's been so long that now I'm playing IGA's new love letter to the franchise.

Bloodstained is awesome. I picked it up on preorder at day 1. I only just beat the final boss a few days ago. It's so easy after you've beat the carpenter.

I didn't even bother with the carpenter. Didn't need an imbued bone for anything, so yeah, that's maybe the only corner of the map I haven't officially covered by now. So, I'm just dealing with the final boss.

What do those "+capacity" things do, anyway? I can still only carry five potions at the same time! I love this game, but I really dislike all the grinding...

The carpenters ultimate prize is not the imbued bone, but his shard Chisel barrage. It instantly made killing everything so much easier. A lot easier than repeatedly drop kicking on their heads with the blue sky boots. It's like a long ranged inferno breath that makes enemies bleed so blood steal becomes effective when using this shard.
Prepare before you face him if you plan on taking a whack at your chances to get that shard. He sucked the massive supply of food right out of my inventory with how much damage he does.
I imagine the capacity things are meant for how many of each bullet you can carry at once since the icon is two pistols crossing. But I don't really use guns or craft bullets often.

Not really worth it, then. I've got Rhava Velar and the Blue Rose, so I think I'm good. I'm a little annoyed with all the grinding, but at least I got some good stuff out of it. There's a lot of stuff I missed, though, so I'll play it again when I get the chance. Not sure if I want to start over or do a New Game+.

There’s a point in the game where collecting those capacity+ things becomes completely pointless. After helping out Susie enough, you get something that gives you UNLIMITED AMMO! But those recipe books were hard to find. I’m not starting a newgame+ until I’ve completed the game 100%.
