I'm well aware that 's a study but the look of Excalibur is a bit odd to me because it's suppose to be a magic sword so you could take the opportunity to pratice mint and shiny texture effects on it ... just an idea by the way

While I love this piece (favorite Disney movie! Woo!), something bugs me.
Why is the sword so heavily scratched...? It's never been removed from the stone, so did someone try taking a hatchet to it?
