I would ad some gradient to make the fence look a little less boring but that is personal and I know a lot of people would not agree. Nice piece of work

Thank you. It's one of my older pieces taken with film and scanned. Would love to recreate it with my DSLR, but probably won't be able to capture the moment like this again.

Well.. I started with 35 mm and an SLR.... It was sometimes more fun waiting and working them out in the dark room then it is nowdays

this is neat, but the composition bugs me... it's cut off too high on the bottom I think... kinda looks awkward.
I'd sacrafice some of the top for more on the bottom.. other than that I really enjoyed this shot

When I originally saw your colour version of this photograph, I did not think it would work in B&W... and yet is it stunning!!! You have contrasted this beautifully... the little boy's white hand against the fence is perfect...
