Saint Thomas Aquinas pictured with his unfinished "Summa Theologica," his life's work that was to be a sum of all Christian teaching. I have included the phrase attributed to him "UBI AMOR IBI OCULUS" (Where there is love, there is sight). Thomas Aquinas was born in 1225. He joined the order of St. Dominic in 1243. He was a philosopher, teacher, professor and writer. He died in 1274. His memorial is January 28.
