Made a Pokeball cake for my girlfriend's birthday. It was my first time baking so I was really worried that everything would just end up a huge mess, but it actually turned out a lot better than I had thought.

Oh jeez, I wouldn't mind making a China flag but seeing how my girlfriend is mainly Mexican and how awful I am at drawing animals, I wouldn't be able to make their flag. xD

I guess she likes those things better how about this make a cake with two layers on top if it draw something she likes and on the bottom try decorating with mini flags one after another chinese thenmexican this way you get your wish and she gets hers

She likes video games and Pokemon is a huge thing for her.
I may try that. I'm actually thinking of maybe making Bowser or something as she loves Bowser.

You should! I was thinking about making one for my girlfriend's niece, but I'm not sure how many kids are going to be there. It's really a great gift to make and it's easy for a beginner seeing how I'm a beginner.
I'm actually wondering if I should try them in cupcake form, but who knows.

I'm just not sure if the kids will know or like Gastly and them since they're pretty young. I think it would be safe to stick with the Pokeball.

You should, it's really simple. Just take any old cake recipe that you want and add the icing. I know there's specific cakes that people tell you to make with it, but I say pick your favorite one.
