Description "Blind Sided"

I wanted to do a piece about the extreme polarization happening in my society right now.

Your work is great, really cool style.

You are missing good puns for the names though

This one could've been 'blind sighted'

I absolutely love this piece! The animal suits makes me think of Aesop's fables.
You really have a beautiful style of sculpting and painting!

I very much like the way that you gave them the body proportions of children.

I think the guy on the left should be on the right. In any event, being more devious, he clearly has the upper hand.

i like the representation of the parties, pretty spot on right at the moment. I would have thought to put them in the same boat on water with the boat on fire and spraying each other with the fire extinguishers and not the boat. Either way well done.

I did a sketch almost exactly as you've described (but throwing buckets of water at one another). But after looking at it I felt it was a bit too 'slapping the audience in the face'....I always find it hard to strike the right balance. I like this piece, but still feel that it's a more heavy handed than I would like it to be.

I wouldn't worry about it. I wasn't slapped in the face, but I understand about not wanting to spoon feed your audience. I would say when it comes to politcal work you kinda want to be more heavy handed than usual otherwise the theme might get lost among some people.

You have some mad skills! What sort of clay do you use for these awesome creations of yours?

I use a low fire terracotta with a high grog content. Lots of people don't much like a rough clay like this, but I like that it tends to 'fight' met a bit.

Heh, that's really cool! I'd love to work with terracotta clay - I work with polymer clay. How low does your stuff fire at?
