I know many other people like to highlight some part of their drawing with colour while leaving everything else as black and white^^ It's done both in digital and traditional drawing and sometimes the coloured part ruins the whole concept but you succeeded to keep the balance
Gackt is my idol, too^^ I love to draw him even he's a big pain in the ass to draw, too perfect man xD

I was in the same situation as before ...
But in my family, we draw almost all
I had a lot of advice from one of my big brother and my big sister who they are much more talented than me!
So, I progressed very quickly ^^
It is true that it is difficult to draw gakuto, I have a hard time too ..

Haha, you're lucky to have so artistically talented and gifted family!^^
I'm the only one in my family who draws. My dad's quite good at drawing but he doesn't draw, he likes to read books. Only one of my friends, my best friend, actually, can be considered a gifted and talented drawer, other are average like me, so I have learned few tricks from her but mostly I learn from my mistakes and different tutorials can help too, and just watching others draw^^

Yes, hah, there's too many good pictures to choose from! xD
I don't have any specific ideas for you to suggest but my next Gackt drawig will most likely be some Yoshi-drawing (Gackt's character in his first Hollywood movie "Bunraku") ^^

Let's say my dad used to draw when he was younger, he doesn't anymore. He doesn't have an account here, he isn't very keen on different account sites such as DA, Facebook, Twitter and such. It's not for his age generation anymore, I guess^^

What he did draw? As far as I can recall, it was mainly buildings and cars Nothing very complex, actually but as a little girl years ago, I thought they were pretty^^ His little brother was good at drawing too so I think I have had genes from my dad's side, my mum's parents and relatives are not good drawers. I have also got some genes - or at least motivation and passion - for languages I'm interested in every language and culture in general but my main passion is Japanese and Japan, in general especially East Asian cultures^^

What about you, your genes and interests?

Will you post WIPs of your Gackt or share it with us when it's finished? : 3
