looks pretty good, though a mild suggestion: you maybe want to make sure the bold outlines to eat into the image.. not sure how to explain it I could try with a visual if you don't get me.

Pretty good! I would probably make the outlines a bit thinner, though.

Parideva [2009-02-05 16:47:05 +0000 UTC]

All you did was add a bolder outline, but it looks great! DO MOAR!

the solution is always the simplist one
or something

I love it.
I think,
that you should get a tag for your Pokemon.
For example, like PokePages,

I think the white background makes the Pokemon stand out way more

Norcinu [2009-02-05 02:22:57 +0000 UTC]

Ah! Bolding the outline! I love that effect. However the thick lines are sort of overlapping your Loking and making it look not so good. Perhaps moving the thick outline to the back layer?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mssingno In reply to Norcinu [2009-02-05 02:24:41 +0000 UTC]

moving it to the back woould just leave the colour overtop of it
:/

ill see what i can do

Norcinu In reply to mssingno [2009-02-05 02:33:56 +0000 UTC]

Ah okies. Hmm, good luck with fixing the line then DX!

Snow-Wolfos [2009-02-05 02:18:19 +0000 UTC]

i like it
using the thicker and darker line on the outside really makes the drawing stand out

now when you add a background it'll look even better

Polursine [2009-02-04 23:07:55 +0000 UTC]

Very excellent
(is that even correct English?)

I might suggest that the where the thick outlines meet with the thin be altered. It's rather confusing that these thin outlines are merely 'emerging' from the thick

Examples are; its right antenna, and mainly the head (its right fore leg, and the green section/cheek in the lower right)

Not that its a big deal, it just seems rather odd that these thick outlines are jutting into the image. Perhaps make the outlines on the very OUTSIDE of the thin outlines

If your confused, I can provide a pictoral demonstration

FrozenFeather [2009-02-04 22:52:08 +0000 UTC]

i LOVE the big lines but to be honest i dont like how the very outside lines are thick but everything else, like the eye lines for example are thin and they dopnt match i think i might like it better with all thick lines other then that i love it

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Polursine In reply to FrozenFeather [2009-02-04 23:03:08 +0000 UTC]

It is actually a very effective method of sight manipulation; providing a bold thick outline only to a picture makes the image stand out on a detailed background. While this image doesn't have one, the thickness of the outline seems to 'contain' the image on the white background
Not an attack, just a humbled response

hmm i didn't really think of that but it does

FrozenFeather In reply to mssingno [2009-02-05 01:39:46 +0000 UTC]

yeah i know i guess im truthfully saying i guess i'm not to fond of the new style i guess. if you can i say you try a picture where all the lines are thick its up to you though but i like your old style better then this new one. hope this helps

Overall, much better. I know you haven't changed much, but it seems like you did. The bold line adds a nice effect, and it really makes the colors seem a lot more defining. Great work! Keep doing it like this, and you'll have favz coming in like hotcakes.

JESGRAD07 [2009-02-04 22:00:15 +0000 UTC]

I like it. I particularly like the bold outline, though on some parts I think should ease in better to the thinner lines, and the nice solid colors, not that you didn't do that before, they just seem better now:3 ...I miss the background though. But overall very nicely done dude :3
