I have always wanted to do a piece based on The Crow and finally here it is! This one is up there with some of my best I think. I'm really really pleased with it. It's my all time favourite movie..

I love it. I loved the crow, and I think you have captured his essence perfectly.
Was this a multi-layered piece? I'm going to assume it was, as it would be hard to capture all of the elements you have seen here together in one shot. As such.....it looks wonderful. The background that you used, the light coming from the moon adds a desperate feel to the work, while at the same time, enhancing a perfect mood of relaxation. The moonlight perfectly glowing through the clouds adds much to the piece overall, casting light over the entire image, rather than just rays reaching through the clouds....
The way that you have the tree branches disappearing into the clouds gives an eerie feeling to the location that the image is set in, giving a "ghost" feeling to the setting. I feel that the tombstone should have writing, illegible perhaps, but it lacks that certain "personal" element to it. I find myself wondering where you found the grave portion....was this a shot you took? If so, the detail on the grass and surrounding ground is perfect. The " crow" himself does seem a little blurry, but overall, well done and well placed in the image, fitting perfectly where he is. The makeup perfectly matches the makeup as seen in the movie, as does the hair. The clothes the model is wearing are perfect for this shot. All in all, I commend you for an EXCELLENT job, I'm wanting to see more of your work, your talent is incredible, as is your creativity. I wish I could borrow both for a day.

I am such a fan of the Crow series and everything related to it from the actors used to playing the crow series. I Love this Shot and I am so blown away by this tribute to Brandon Lee's masterful portrayal of The Crow!!!!!!!
