Umm... Inuyasha IS demon in the first place... Yasha means demon (technically by itself it would mean female demon, or CAN mean female demon... Not what it means though...

While the pose seems a little too composed and static to me, the picture makes up for that with it's strong use of colors , fine lines and attention to detail. Me personally I would try to make his stance a little more feral.
