Description So it was freezing here today in Johannesburg (South Africa) and my wife Wendy and I decided to make a fire and spend some time with the children warming up in front of it. There is nothing as peaceful and relaxing as sitting watching a fire (it's just a lot more relaxing when you don't have an 18 month old and a 4 month old baby to watch at the same time!)
Anyway hope you like these pictures, because I love the way these long exposures indicate the flames movement and show of some sparks as well.
By the way, the word "Chisa" is a Zulu phrase meaning "Hot" and we certainly warmed up after this. Where were the marshmallows?
