Background: Birth name Dick Pierce (yes, seriously). Dad (Lt. Mack Pierce) is in SWAT, which is how Dick got a mini-version to use as a costume. Dad's never home because of the demands of his job, much less spending father-son time. Mack divorced with Mom because of conflict between committing to work versus family; Dick lives with Dad. On the plus side, Dick may be one of the few kids skilled in basic firearm handling as a side effect of Mack's line of work. Let's just say it was an exciting story with "Take your Child to Work Day."

Personality: Lets action do the talking, which hides a lack of a clear answer. The militant upbringing shows in the tone of Dick's voice. Not sure what he wants to be when he grows up, Dick just wishes that he could figure it out. He's not very social, because he doesn't want to scare the other kids (or even other grown-ups). The long hair and blushes (feminine traits) clash with the stern voice and focused attitude (masculine traits), leaving Dick with a gender identity crisis.
