Could possibly play off the violent behavior Dragons display when on the hunt for precious metals, dragons will kill to get them. 

Seems like something that shouldn’t happen to tarnish the cuteness of Charmander though.

It is so hard making the wholesome Pokémon into creepy tropes when they have a whole line of ghost and dark types!

Yeah, true. But even then, it would be hard. There’s quite a few Whole some looking ones out of the Ghost types interestingly. A lot of the dark types would be good for Horror Tropes though. 

Misdreavus, Darkrai, Duskull, Confagrigus, and Haunter would be good for some spooky fun out of the Ghost types.
