I don't mean to be a critic because I really want to honor Daniels memory. I feel like you should have drawn in Ryan. If anyone was Daniels closest friend, it would have been him. They made Cyndago together, it is only appropriate.

I just watched the video that Mark put up on Facebook about what is going on. I found out about it yesterday from one of the Markiplier groups I watch. It is very sad about what happened, Mark even had me crying towards the end of his video. I have gone through the pain of losing someone due to suicide and I wish the very best for Daniel's family and friends.Β

This is very rude and disrespectful, both to the artist and to the people who are in pain over his death. We're all mourning, and we all deal with it in our own way. Similarly, we're all choosing to remember, honor, and make tributes to him in our own way. No tribute is "wrong," and this tribute certainly is not "disrespectful," as you implied.Β
This is a very painful time for a lot of people. Let people mourn. So you're not crying and choose to make playlists of his videos. Fine. But a lot of people ARE crying, and a lot of people are choosing to pay tribute through art. Just because it is not done your way does not mean it's wrong. So please, do not criticize this person for the way they chose to express their grief and remember Daniel.

I'm not criticizing just this artist, I'm criticizing everyone who chooses to cry over a guy who's worked hours on end to stop us from crying. That's disrespectful, and puts all of his hard work in vain. I get it, I sound like an asshole, but guess what? The truth hurts. And in this case, it hurts even more, because really? As I said before, we are all mourning. It's only natural for us to cry as we mourn his loss. It is not disrespectful at all, not in any sense of the word. We will be able to laugh with him again, but for most of us we just can't right now. His work is not and will not be in vain. We are allowed to cry. We our allowed to mourn. We lost somebody very special. To say that we can't is very unfair. We all have feelings, we all have hearts, and many of our hearts are broken. We love him, and we will miss him, but we will heal. We will be able to laugh again. Please be respectful as we mourn his loss and try to be more understanding towards those who are hurting.
