Description Check out the next one, The Magician: [link]

I dunno if I mentioned this small project of mine. You see, my little children, I recently got myself a tarot deck. Before we go further I will make it clear that I don't believe in any kind of divination, but I'm also a sucker for playing cards, especially those with detailed, symbolic designs... And looking upon the illustrations of my deck, I noticed something: The centuries old illustrations really suck. The anatomy is flawed, the aesthetics are terrible, plain and simple, they are very poorly drawn. Of course art was not a powerhouse during the Middle Ages, but all these symbolisms could be made into something much more attractive... And so it starts my mission (LOL, I really am taking this seriously, must've been something I've ate XD) to draw all the 22 major arcana of a Tarot deck. Some I'll change a little, some I'll change A LOT, all will be improved.

Well, now that bible of explanations is over with, I introduce the numberless arcana (it can be a zero or a 21, I chose to make it a zero though, screw tradition), The Fool. He represents the soul going through life, luck, fate, and vital decisions. the traditional symbols I included are the ripped clothing of a wanderer, a rod slung over the shoulder carefreely, and a dog, which represents a contrast between humans and their less developed counterparts. Furthermore i added a blindfold to show a travel through life with limited knowledge, his way set due west, for progress, and he crossing his fingers, hoping for luck and miracles along the way... So yeah, i really did my homework, as you can notice XD. I'll be uploading the next ones periodically

I also love tarot decks; not because I put them to use or have any concept of their practice, but I think they're so interesting to look at. This sounds like a very interesting project! I'm curious about how you'll work out some of the more challenging ones.

Exactly my thoughts, right? I heard somewhere that these were actually used to tell stories, back when they were just seen as playing cards.
Btw I'm glad I sparked your interest! You'll see how I work it out... Right now the one I struggled the most with is The Lovers, which i'm proud of, you'll see it... Thanks again!
