Finally, reduced.2nd Re-submission after getting some advice from the community! Added some effects and a different background, which are elements of a "city". For the Americans out there: The lines on top show some kind of an european-styled roadmap (we just have more curves instead of a block layout).

Photoshop! Font is Neue Helvetica LT23, combined down below with a little line of Avantgarde. I hope you can see the rasterized effect on the coloured layer, depends on your monitor however.

interesting typography. It's stuff like this I enjoy blurring my eyes and just seeing the visual elements interact. Where did you find, or how did you produce the repetitive pattern in the background???

I like the idea, I like the simplicity. If your looking for advice try cutting the rest of the 'S' off where the 'Y' over laps and see which one you like better.

Hmm yeah, I like simplicity, but it just looks a little bit like you made this in 1 hour. I'm not saying that everything made within 1 hour is bad... I don't know how to tell it exactly, lol.
Maybe add some more details, like grungy things and try some other colour schemes

I always like to add a lot of details, but on this piece I felt like keeping it simple. In fact, it took more than 1 hour
