I guess it would be incredible to find your artwork on a comic cover! I never even thought of that part! Awesome Bill!

I can't wait to see it either!

I am flattered that you contacted me about this. Now I see the relation to the FB request. Interesting take on the character. I am not really one to add, or design, too much in a costume design. Meaning, I prefer to keep to it simple and functional. Yours isn't bad at all, and more importantly it still is recognizable as Aztek. Congrats on being chosen to do the covers on the title. Aztek still has a special place in my heart and I am happy to see people still remember him and want to see him again. This has made my day!! Do your thing Fixit!!!

Well I have to say that I am very flattered that you even gave it a look see..haha...let alone taking the time to comment on it! I really have no comic book experience and just kind of learning things quite rapidly..Just purchased an A3 scanner online and my first pad of Bristol A3 comic boards..Gotta start somewhere right? Thank you so much for your feedback! You have no idea what it means. I was hoping that the design change wouldn't offend you..Yours was and is still very amazing!

Oh man! An actual Aztek piece, mental! Got all his appearances I reckon, shame he never really lasted... but great seeing him appear in Justice League Unlimited. Nice work dude

I have actually been picked to be the cover artist for an online Aztek Comic through the DC2 fan fiction site.....There is a link on the description to the site...they are still putting the dressings on the cover and haveing a digital artist color it for a variant cover Thank I am glad you like it!

Its a pretty steep but very quick learning curve, i've only been in it just over 2 years and its flown by! I feel its the quickest ageing profession around haha

I really want to learn photoshop and how to digitally color ..I tried downloading CS5 but apparently it isn't compatable with my computer's processor

Really! What are you running? You could try an older version, anything from 7 onwards is pretty much usuable to learn on. I could recommend Painter and Gimp but I dont use em so i'm useless there, i'm PS only! CS5 is quite a hungry program for computer memory, i'm using CS4 and its still killing me haha

I only have Windows XP right now. Would make a lot more sense to start out with an older version. I did download Gimp Shop but I have no idea how to use it..haha... I just purchased the Mustek Scan Express A3 1200 Pro USB Large Format Scanner after reading a lot of reviews...it's cheap and most people seem to be happy with it. And I just bought a pad of Bristol comic board. Gotta start somewhere right? LOL

XP is fine, Gimps free so it could be good... might as well try it if all else fails (not too diffrent in basics to PS from what I hear, tutorials online I'll bet). Sounds like your on the right track though

Thanks I hope so! There is a forum on the Adobe site all about how XP won't work with CS5. They weren't aware of the problem until people told them about the error messages when trying to run it. All the sub programs work but not the main one all because of the processor they say..and no fix for it.

Yeah I have to check that out! Been learning about bleed area and trim line and all that fun stuff for the Comic Boards ..LOL
