THE END OF CIVIL WAR AND AFTERMATH

After a brutal civil war in Akmoana City, on North of Spherus Magna, The Toa and Glatorian and various beings were the victorious, ending The Skralls' and other beings' invasion. They retreated, and the victory was freshing and the nightmare was over.

Meratan helped injured warriors on own side who were involved in Civil War. Seeing fallen heroes on streets, buildings were destroyed by enemies' catapults. The results were terrifying and catastrophic after the 10 year war. Bythalis was walking around, seeing the tragedy around him, the lost ones, the shock, and his lost friend who sacrefied his own life to save Bythalis, being now collapsed under of rocks in The Temple. He thought being useless Toa, which he couldn't possess rocks.

Meratan perceived Bythalis, asking him that was he alright. Bythalis was stressed and only blamed himself, being not a helpful Toa for everyone. Meratan cheered him up that they're living in the better place, and he fought well with an unusual Kanohi mask. He noted also Bythalis' element not being the actual element what he was suppouse to have, thus his unusual glowing orb on Bythalis' chest. "That orb...", Meratan wondered.

"What? What orb?" Asked Bythalis. "Forget it, we have to help everyone", stated Meratan.

Couple of weeks later, the city was reconstructed little by little, most of The Toa, The Matoran, Agori, Glatorian and others were cured, some of them were having amputations, rest of them didn't survive for the injuries. Everyone were helping each other, supporting and gave greatest sympathies for their lost friends.

Meratan and Bythalis went to met shaman called Cashamor, who was meditating and having connection with "them". He woke from meditation and saw two Toa, wondering what they wanted. Bythalis told his problems, being not having own Stone element. While Meratan talked with him about Bythalis' glowing orb. Cashamor was confused that he needed to take a far-out ritual meditation, for his friend.

An hour passed, and Cashamor talked with Meratan that he had to protect Bythalis for their journey to the mystical place. Meratan agreed with him, but Bythalis was unsure what they were talking about. They had to prepare to leave from city in two months. When two months has passed, they started to be ready for their journey. Bythalis watched the reconstructed city for the last time, and saw his friends saying goodbyes. Their journey has begun.

THE LONG JOURNEY TO "AFTERWORLD"

While leaving their home city, Meratan explained that they had to reach to the place before The Spiritual Moon shining on The Wairua Lake. They only had 3 months to make in the time. Bythalis asked how long journey it will be, while Meratan was unsure how long distance would be to get there. He answered that they will be in time.

Few hours later, they bumped to The Great Rao Bare Forest, as what in the city's people refered to it. The enormous wildlife and nature are the King of The Great Rao Bare Forest. Meratan stated that they had to be careful in the wildereness in forest. Most of Rahi and flora fauna were peaciful, while some of them are hostile. Bythalis didn't have any idea about what kind of other Rahi creatures were, since he lived before in Metru Nui as being a guard in his original planet, when Teridax took over Mata Nui robot and flew to former planet called Bara Magna, currently known as "The reformatted Spherus Magna".

Suddenly they heard a metallic hit from a far distance and Meratan warned to be extremely careful. Bythalis nodded, but he saw a metallic ball flying and crashed to tree. "I saw something!" Bythalis boggled. Meratan checked what was in a tree, but he only found a metal ball. "Where did this came from..?" Meratan wondered. "Oi! Give me that ball back!" the stranger shouted from above. Meratan had to be careful for not using Fire element in forest, instead he threw a metal ball at stranger where the voice came from. "Not that way you firespitter!" stranger yelled in a temper. Bythalis shouted to up that the stranger should show itself if wanting a conversation. A couple of seconds later the stranger showed itself.

"No way.. Tempu!?" Bythalis was surprised to see him again. Tempu was shocked that Bythalis is Toa now and he almost thought him being a foreign Toa. "Unbeliavable, now I'm jealous Rockhead", Tempu joked around. Meratan wasn't pleased to see Tempu, seeing him as an annoying Le-Matoran, who would slow down their journey. "Where do you come from?" asked Meratan. "How do I know? I don't even remember my home village's name", Tempu answered in a confusion way. Bythalis was thinking one reason about Tempu why he was wondering around of forest, searching or robbering victims' food supply. "You are searching food am I correct?" asked Bythalis. Tempu explained being hungry for a week that he couldn't buy any food from his home village, he instead poached a little bit nutrition, but eventually was chased but got away, but couldn't return there, because he would be imprisoned anyway in the end.

"Hey, the time is ticking", Meratan hurried them. Bythalis understood that they had to continue their journey, but he didn't want let his friend alone in middle of forest. "Say, do you mind that Tempu could come along with us? We're at least hunting or searching some nutritions, right?" Asked Bythalis out of curiousity. Meratan was quite more annoyed, but he accepted it. "Le-Matoran, do not monkey around then, you got that?" warned Meratan. "Okay I get it, no need to be a hot-tempered boss here", stated Tempu.

The trio then walked through The Great Rao Bare Forest. They passed the dangers, though they have faced some Rahi creatures in forest, even facing some Vorox warriors, and they gain some nutritions.

2 months and 28 days later

They finally have arrived to The Wairua Lake at evening while sun sets. Tempu was heaving, Bythalis was tired and Meratan was still fired up. "Well, here we are then, The Wairua Lake", Meratan noted. They made a camp and rested close at beach and the night stroke after. In the dead of night, Meratan guarded Bythalis and Tempu, and looking at the night sky. "Phase two in next five thousand years", Meratan soliloquized.

Two days later, same time at night, they were waiting the moment what Cashamor has told them three months ago. Tempu didn't have any idea what was the journey's point. Few minutes ago no phenoma happened on The Wairua Lake, however they started to realize that the mysterious mist was surrounding them, coming from the lake and from forest. Took about a minute until they saw a clear glowing portal and Meratan ordered them to follow and get through the portan. He went trough first, but Bythalis wasn't sure, but because he had to fulfill Cashamor's order, he went through the portal. "Hey! Don't leave me!" Tempu was in alarm and followed them and went through the portal as well.

After getting through the portal, they ended up to middle of misty forest and the portal shut itself. "Where... Are we?" asked Bythalis. Meratan answered that they're in Kothevu Forest, the place where the mist never vanish away. Tempu was in uncomfortable mood, he couldn't see anything far away what comes behind the mist. Meratan lead them through the mist. It was a mysterious and uncomfortable feeling while walking through the fog, everything seemed to be strange and extraordinary around Bythalis and Tempu, but not for Meratan.

Couple of hours later, they finally have arrived to The Shrine and the mist vanished to reveal a clear blue sky with a sun and stars. Tempu was surprised that the place was enormous, so was Bythalis. Incoming came a medium sized Guardian from sky, levitating with a small hurricane, recognizing Meratan and saw two strangers. "And those two are..?" asked Guardian. "Toa of Stone with no stone element is Bythalis, The Artifact Holder, and over there is his friend", Meratan stated. "Aah, I see, you have fulfilled your duty my creation", Guardian bowed to Meratan and came closer to Bythalis and Tempu. "Toa Bythalis, am I correct? I am Zanshei, The Former Guardian of Weathers, please to meet you The Artifact Holder", Zanshei bowed to Bythalis. He was quite pleased about him, and he bowed back. However Tempu was a bit confused, as having no idea why Bythalis was called The Artifact Holder. "Uuuhh... Nice to meet you Zanshai?", Tempu introduced and bowed a bit in a embarrassing way to Zanshei, and Zanshei accepted his warm welcome.

Later Zanshei led Bythalis, Meratan and Tempu went inside the wooden, clean and grassy shrine, introducing the places, their "home". Soon after they went to Training Course Room where they saw other Students training their skills. Zanshei introduced teo new comrades and one veteran to his students, and they were a little bit interested about them. Bythalis and Tempu introduced themself and created a slight interests on the students, including Alarha and Olarokh.

A year later Bythalis learned new martial arts skills that Zanshei was impressed. Much later Zanshei revealed the truth about Bythalis' element that he possess Lightning element. From that day, he was shocked and surprised about his unusual element. Many trainings and events has passed, and he gained new friends.

THE FALL OF THE SHRINE

Five years later, one night on The Shrine has been ambushed by the army of Skralls, Teghyrs (Krekka's species) and Jahvlas (Sidorak's species) suddenly. Everyone from shrine woke up from enemies battle cry and noted stones being thrown at The Shrine, crushing the walls. Every students, Toa and others prepared quickly for battle. Zanshei's meditation got interrupted by the strikes of stones, and he checked quickly what was happening. He was shocked: "How did they find here..?" Some students got injured by Teghyrs' thrown stones, some panicked, some escaped, some helped the others taking enormous stones away but most of others were fighting back and tried to stop the wave.

Meratan fought them back, so the others. The battle was a cruel and merciless, The Toa used their elements to stop them, but the continual wave was unstoppable. While the fight was on going, the enemies brought Atrasu fire, a shadow type of fire what a normal Fire possessed warrior couldn't control or absorb it, the Atrasu fire was a hazardous weapon. They set the boulders on fire with Atrasu type and threw at The Shrine, setting the building on fire. "Zanshei!" shouted Bythalis. He saw one Jahvla warrior fighting him against Zanshei, but one Neo-Skrall stabbed Zanshei brutally from behind, Bythalis saw Zanshei's death from his very own eyes. This put Bythalis into berserked statement and the others saw his fight against the enemy. Meratan shot fire flames at the enemy and transformed his own weapon into Inferno Sword and started to slash them back. However he saw Bythalis using Ilikari ability and punched enemies heads, joints and bones, cracking or destroying their inner structures, notwithstanding his alarming pain. Alarha threw the enemies at the others, Olarokh shooting at them with Proton Minigun and switched to Rocket Pod to firing at them, Tempu smacked metal ball at enemies' head and ran through at them and smacked their head with Yacbel bat.

The enemies has started to retreat, as they are starting to lose amount of warriors. However, the fight wasn't over, the Atrasu fire started to spread from The Shrine to forest, the furious situation has to be stopped. Bythalis ordered others to fall back, but he was hypocritical at the moment. He ran through and tried to find any survivors, but none of them would be saved, he only saw dead bodies and saw two enemies getting away. The building started to collapse and Bythalis escaped, he ran quickly away, Meratan ordered Olarokh to create an enormous sonic sphere prison around of The Shrine being on Atrasu fire. Olarokh did so, costing his large amount of his own element that it was nearly impossible to create and control. Bythalis watched The Shrine's devastation that it impacted his nightmareish past. Once more, Olarokh started to shrunk his sonic sphere prison to extinguish Atrasu fire. The survivors were terrified and shocked, Bythalis felt nullity and Meratan felt tragedy.

At morning, everyone saw the ruins of The Shrine. Atrasu fire was extinguished also by the sunlight. Before they move on, Bythalis remembered Zanshei's order that if they ever get disassemble from The Shrine, they needed to find another Zanshei called Zemdhar, Guardian of Storms. He then suggested to Meratan that they needed to meet her. Meratan accepted his request, but he had to think the route to get her temple. They prayed on the victims of The Shrine and left the deepest sympathies on them. The ambience was deep and black, like the time has slowed down again.

THE SHOCKING REVEALATION

Two months later after the incident, Meratan lead the way to Zemdhar's Ocean Temple, as he "knew" where it sight. Bythalis still has more scars open, inside of him. "I promised to my fallen friend, when I have friends, the more I care about them. The more friends you have, the more your respnsibility grows. When my friends are in danger, it is my duty to protect them at all cost. Believe myself, the trust on myself is the way how the Toa should be", Bythalis thought and scrunched his own hand, as he swore himself. Olarokh and Alarha got a bit worried about him, and Tempu was having uncomfortable impact, as he felt something was aftering them.

In the middle of road, in forest, an arrow was shot from a distance and Meratan noted and activated his Hau to create a shield, and alarmed everyone to be prepared for another battle. Everyone prepared, except they have tripped the trap, as the logs on rope swung from two directions. Meratan quit using Hau's ability and used Inferno Sword to stab one incoming log, and burning it, while Bythalis used quickly Kanohi Ilikari to punch log and blasting the log into pieces, damaging his endobones slightly.

Another ambush by enemies, everyone prepared for battle and started to defence, this time more serious and intense way. While fighting the same enemies, Bythalis was fighting few Skralls and one Teghyr, Meratan transformed his Inferno Sword into Flame Wheel Launcher and started to shoot at Bythalis. He saw from side and grabbed Teghyr and it got a few deep stabbing injuries by Meratan's attack. "What the scrap Meratan!?" Bythalis shout at him. Soon Meratan started to fight his own comrades back, planting Lava Mines willfully on ground as if one of comrades steps on it and the Lava Mine explodes and burns the triggerer. Next he started to use Inferno Sword as flamethrower and setting the forest on fire, soon he targeted at Bythalis using Inferno Sword as flamethrower and launched a large and burning fire storm at him.

However, one of comrades noticed Bythalis being danger, as he was sword fighting some Skralls and Jahlvas. She quickly used Plantilife power using trees' roots as moving her faster, and created quickly strongest roots and vines out from herself and protected Bythalis. The fire storm burned Skralls and Jahvlas and blasted the heat on Plantlife elemented being. Meratan was running out of Fire elemental energy, but it didn't last long for her that she sacrificed her life to protect him. Bythalis heard her last words, saw her turning into ashes. He felt emptyness, reminding again his dark past. Bythalis released his berserk lightning and started to be faster and cutting and stabbing the enemies.

Alarha saw Meratan's action and got serious what he was doing, she used her magnetism to levitate a couple of Teghyrs and threw at him. However Meratan noticed her thrown Teghyrs and activated Hau to create a shield. "You're the bothersome one", Meratan got annoyed and switched his Inferno Sword into Flame Wheel Launcher and fired at her. Alarha lifted some Jahvlas as shields and they got hit by Meratan's Flame Wheels, she continued to walk towards at him, as giving him a payback for killing own comrade. "You have done enough damages you Dirty Blooded Toa", Alarha berated at Meratan. Meratan prepared for killing next victim.

Meanwhile the other comrades were fighting against the enemies, Olarokh noticed Alarha fighting Meratan, but he was overly powerful and grabbed Alarha's neck and started to strangle her. Olarokh activated his Utavran ability and switched Skrall's corpse close at them. He created Sonic maze and punched at Meratan's knee and he freed Alarha and dropped her on ground. Meratan's evil stare targeted at Olarokh's eyes and switched to Inferno Sword. Olarokh dropped his The Havoc Staff (Proton Minigun/Rocket Pod Staff) and took quickly Riot Shield and Broadsword and started sword fight with Meratan. After few minutes fighting with Meratan, Olarokh tackled with Riot shield at him, unfortunately Meratan caught his Riot shield and threw it away and they fought with swords.

In other place, Bythalis and his other comrades killed enough of enemies that they started to retreat away. While thought the fight being over, he still heard Olarokh's scream from other side, as Meratan punching heavily with Fired arm, trying to damage his wires and Neo-Core. "I'm finishing you later, but first, the one who is a greater risk for me", Meratan stated at him and he grabbed Alarha's pony tail. She wasn't pleased and was angry at him, "You disgust me", Meratan scorn at Alarha and prepared to kill her with Inferno Sword. Olarokh saw him igniting Inferno Sword, but he gave a sign to Bythalis. Olarokh used Kanohi Utavran and shifted his own places with Bythalis. Bythalis as now lying on ground he took BL7-TR0N pistol and shot at Meratan's forehead mask as distracting him, and he let Alarha free again. While he was rubbing his mask, Bythalis then electrified Lighting Katana and cut extremely fast his left arm. Meratan shout in pain, his cut arm was leaking dark smoking blood, and Bythalis activated his Ilikari and gave all what he got, he punched extremely fast and heavily at Meratan's chest. With one punch, he sent Meratan blasting away and crashing at the trees. He was heavily injured.

Bythalis was so in rage that he wanted to kill him, but he already ran out his energy and fell backwards, being now very tired for battle. "I. Must. Protect. Everyone. At all. Cost..." Bythalis swore again slowly. A quarter later Alarha, Olarokh and other comrades helped him to stand up, as Bythalis was in fully conscious. He had enough of falling friends, he couldn't take it. Alarha calmed him down, and they had to move on to find Zemdhar. Later went on place where Plantlife comrade was extinguished, being burned into ashes. Bythalis took his small canister and collected her ashes into canister.

Much later at evening, before sun was setting, they were in grassy flowerfield mountains, with some cherry trees. Bythalis, Alarha, Olarokh, Tempu and others were saying deepest sympathies for the fallen hero, remembering the moments and the memories. He opened the canister and freed the ashes, all the comrades watched her ashes diving into wind road. She's in better place and they remembered her as great warrior and friend.

THE SINISTROUS PLAN

"Uugh... Where... Am I? What is... This place..." wondered Meratan, who was sitting inside of deep chamber. He saw experiments inside of glass canisters and saw The Matoran and The Doctor. "You're in experimenting chamber my patient", stated The Doctor. Meratan didn't have any idea what he was going to do, but he saw Skralls, Teghyrs and Jahvlas being nursed. "Yes, you were taken back by your injured warriors, and The Neo-Toa took you then here to heal your injuries", The Doctor told to Meratan. Meratan was reliefed that he wasn't captured by another enemy, instead he was back in original planet where they lived before, he was at the 7 walking mechanical islands, resting in one region of it.

"So The Commander knew that I was injured as well?" Meratan asked. The Doctor nodded and incoming came commander of The Neo-Toa. He was talking with Meratan that his team took him back to Spherus Magna, and Neo-Toa in Spherus Magna's desert, close at dead Teridax's robot, awaited Meratan's team arrival. The portal on Spherus Magna appeared and Neo-Toa adviced injured Skralls, Teghyrs and Jahvlas to their world, even carrying heavily damaged Meratan to their region. The commander told to Meratan about Phase 3, and Meratan gets revenge in next five thousand years. Meratan wasn't pleased about it still, but he had to become stronger, in order to defeat his arch nemesis Bythalis, and achieve his goal.

Few weeks later, The Neo-Toa brought something from Spherus Magna, from one abandoned city. They brought left amputated arm of Gravity Toa, where next The Doctor implanted to Meratan's left injured arm. Later he felt moving his "new" arm, that it was also his perfect secondary weapon for upcoming wars and battles. Meratan trained few months with his Gravity Toa's arm, creating zero-G waves, levitating objects, altered his own gravity to upside down or sideways. He soon felt Gravity element fusionizing with Fire element, and learned to alter gravity-fire's directions when he blasted gravity-fire and directing its straight line into multiple directions.

One day, Meratan talked with Commander that their plan to make invasion to Spherus Magna, to Akmoana City where Bythalis and he lived before. "Indeed, we sure made an agreement before, even before Civil War in Akmoana City", Commander stated. "You and my power, our army, our achievements. With them, we can create our new Empire in Spherus Magna", Meratan also stated and looking at huge hangar where the Neo-Toa and other Neo-beings are training and preparing for next war, vehicles, weapons and new experiments being prepared for it, in next thousand years.

"You're not brave enough, I can see your fear conquering your spirit."

Meratan's nature was thought to be pure, but as a twist, he betrayed everyone of Bythalis' team. He is very strategic Toa of Fire who can anticipate his plans to set the Fire traps and distractions. He is also know to be merciless and cruel Toa of Fire. Meratan is rather patience and vicious than hot-tempered, but sometimes his mind snaps off if little or big thing goes totally wrong. He often shows his fear and power on his minions. Meratan's arch nemesis is Bythalis and others who he has betraying before.

Powers, Weapon(s)/Tool(s) & Weaknesses
Meratan is Toa of Fire, which he can possess, create and absorb fire elemented based attacks. While he lacks perfect close-combat style, Meratan still can create fire punches or fire kicks, or he can even set his own right arm into fire and grab and burn the target by holding its neck. Because of his lost cut arm, and using Gravity Toa's arm for advantage, he can create Zero-G areas by setting specific radius and plant it on ground. Meratan is able to levitate the objects, but he can also alter his own gravity for temporary time or on the target. He is capable to alter his or targets' gravity on upside down or sideways. Or he can create force impact when he is close at the target. Meratan could create blackholes, however he never has created black hole, because he knows the risks of it. Because his own element and gravity got mixed up when The Doctor implanted Gravity Toa's arm on Meratan's cut arm. He only has found one ability to use Gravity-Fire element, firing the Gravity-Fire he can some what alter fire's directions, from straight line into altered directions. However, while he possess gravity, he only has one fifth possess on Gravity element.

Meratan equips a permament weapon on his right arm called Multifunctional Biomechanical Arm. The weapon includes four modes, Inferno Sword, Flame Wheel Launcher, Lava Mine Launcher and The Flame Reaper. With Inferno Sword, Meratan uses for melee style or use it as flamethrower. Utulizing with Flame Wheel Launcher he can shoot with fired up wheels at the targets. Meratan's favourite weapon for setting up traps, Lava Mine Launcher is designed to be launched and plant on solid ground or walls. His least useful weapon The Flame Reaper is only for hand-to-hand combat as nasty surprise, or use it as tool. Meratan's armor was designed differently, since the other Toa can activate and launch Nova Blast, he can Nova charge and blast Nova Fire Beam from his chest. His armor is heavily defenced.

Meratan greatest weaknesses is the water, which can limit his fire element. The stone and earth affects heavily on his element, as he has chance to melt rocks or minerals.

When two months has passed, they started to be ready for their journey. Bythalis watched the reconstructed city for the last time, and saw his friends saying goodbyes. Their journey has begun.

THE LONG JOURNEY TO "AFTERWORLD"

While leaving their home city, Meratan explained that they had to reach to the place before The Spiritual Moon shining on The Wairua Lake. They only had 3 months to make in the time. Bythalis asked how long journey it will be, while Meratan was unsure how long distance would be to get there. He answered that they will be in time.

Few hours later, they bumped to The Great Rao Bare Forest, as what in the city's people refered to it. The enormous wildlife and nature are the King of The Great Rao Bare Forest. Meratan stated that they had to be careful in the wildereness in forest. Most of Rahi and flora fauna were peaciful, while some of them are hostile. Bythalis didn't have any idea about what kind of other Rahi creatures were, since he lived before in Metru Nui as being a guard in his original planet, when Teridax took over Mata Nui robot and flew to former planet called Bara Magna, currently known as "The reformatted Spherus Magna".

Suddenly they heard a metallic hit from a far distance and Meratan warned to be extremely careful. Bythalis nodded, but he saw a metallic ball flying and crashed to tree. "I saw something!" Bythalis boggled. Meratan checked what was in a tree, but he only found a metal ball. "Where did this came from..?" Meratan wondered. "Oi! Give me that ball back!" the stranger shouted from above. Meratan had to be careful for not using Fire element in forest, instead he threw a metal ball at stranger where the voice came from. "Not that way you firespitter!" stranger yelled in a temper. Bythalis shouted to up that the stranger should show itself if wanting a conversation. A couple of seconds later the stranger showed itself.

"No way.. Tempu!?" Bythalis was surprised to see him again. Tempu was shocked that Bythalis is Toa now and he almost thought him being a foreign Toa. "Unbeliavable, now I'm jealous Rockhead", Tempu joked around. Meratan wasn't pleased to see Tempu, seeing him as an annoying Le-Matoran, who would slow down their journey. "Where do you come from?" asked Meratan. "How do I know? I don't even remember my home village's name", Tempu answered in a confusion way. Bythalis was thinking one reason about Tempu why he was wondering around of forest, searching or robbering victims' food supply. "You are searching food am I correct?" asked Bythalis. Tempu explained being hungry for a week that he couldn't buy any food from his home village, he instead poached a little bit nutrition, but eventually was chased but got away, but couldn't return there, because he would be imprisoned anyway in the end.

"Hey, the time is ticking", Meratan hurried them. Bythalis understood that they had to continue their journey, but he didn't want let his friend alone in middle of forest. "Say, do you mind that Tempu could come along with us? We're at least hunting or searching some nutritions, right?" Asked Bythalis out of curiousity. Meratan was quite more annoyed, but he accepted it. "Le-Matoran, do not monkey around then, you got that?" warned Meratan. "Okay I get it, no need to be a hot-tempered boss here", stated Tempu.

The trio then walked through The Great Rao Bare Forest. They passed the dangers, though they have faced some Rahi creatures in forest, even facing some Vorox warriors, and they gain some nutritions.

2 months and 28 days later

They finally have arrived to The Wairua Lake at evening while sun sets. Tempu was heaving, Bythalis was tired and Meratan was still fired up. "Well, here we are then, The Wairua Lake", Meratan noted. They made a camp and rested close at beach and the night stroke after. In the dead of night, Meratan guarded Bythalis and Tempu, and looking at the night sky. "Phase two in next five thousand years", Meratan soliloquized.

Two days later, same time at night, they were waiting the moment what Cashamor has told them three months ago. Tempu didn't have any idea what was the journey's point. Few minutes ago no phenoma happened on The Wairua Lake, however they started to realize that the mysterious mist was surrounding them, coming from the lake and from forest. Took about a minute until they saw a clear glowing portal and Meratan ordered them to follow and get through the portan. He went trough first, but Bythalis wasn't sure, but because he had to fulfill Cashamor's order, he went through the portal. "Hey! Don't leave me!" Tempu was in alarm and followed them and went through the portal as well.

After getting through the portal, they ended up to middle of misty forest and the portal shut itself. "Where... Are we?" asked Bythalis. Meratan answered that they're in Kothevu Forest, the place where the mist never vanish away. Tempu was in uncomfortable mood, he couldn't see anything far away what comes behind the mist. Meratan lead them through the mist. It was a mysterious and uncomfortable feeling while walking through the fog, everything seemed to be strange and extraordinary around Bythalis and Tempu, but not for Meratan.

Couple of hours later, they finally have arrived to The Shrine and the mist vanished to reveal a clear blue sky with a sun and stars. Tempu was surprised that the place was enormous, so was Bythalis. Incoming came a medium sized Guardian from sky, levitating with a small hurricane, recognizing Meratan and saw two strangers. "And those two are..?" asked Guardian. "Toa of Stone with no stone element is Bythalis, The Artifact Holder, and over there is his friend", Meratan stated. "Aah, I see, you have fulfilled your duty my creation", Guardian bowed to Meratan and came closer to Bythalis and Tempu. "Toa Bythalis, am I correct? I am Zanshei, The Former Guardian of Weathers, please to meet you The Artifact Holder", Zanshei bowed to Bythalis. He was quite pleased about him, and he bowed back. However Tempu was a bit confused, as having no idea why Bythalis was called The Artifact Holder. "Uuuhh... Nice to meet you Zanshai?", Tempu introduced and bowed a bit in a embarrassing way to Zanshei, and Zanshei accepted his warm welcome.

Later Zanshei led Bythalis, Meratan and Tempu went inside the wooden, clean and grassy shrine, introducing the places, their "home". Soon after they went to Training Course Room where they saw other Students training their skills. Zanshei introduced teo new comrades and one veteran to his students, and they were a little bit interested about them. Bythalis and Tempu introduced themself and created a slight interests on the students, including Alarha and Olarokh.

A year later Bythalis learned new martial arts skills that Zanshei was impressed. Much later Zanshei revealed the truth about Bythalis' element that he possess Lightning element. From that day, he was shocked and surprised about his unusual element. Many trainings and events has passed, and he gained new friends.

THE FALL OF THE SHRINE

Five years later, one night on The Shrine has been ambushed by the army of Skralls, Teghyrs (Krekka's species) and Jahvlas (Sidorak's species) suddenly. Everyone from shrine woke up from enemies battle cry and noted stones being thrown at The Shrine, crushing the walls. Every students, Toa and others prepared quickly for battle. Zanshei's meditation got interrupted by the strikes of stones, and he checked quickly what was happening. He was shocked: "How did they find here..?" Some students got injured by Teghyrs' thrown stones, some panicked, some escaped, some helped the others taking enormous stones away but most of others were fighting back and tried to stop the wave.

Meratan fought them back, so the others. The battle was a cruel and merciless, The Toa used their elements to stop them, but the continual wave was unstoppable. While the fight was on going, the enemies brought Atrasu fire, a shadow type of fire what a normal Fire possessed warrior couldn't control or absorb it, the Atrasu fire was a hazardous weapon. They set the boulders on fire with Atrasu type and threw at The Shrine, setting the building on fire. "Zanshei!" shouted Bythalis. He saw one Jahvla warrior fighting him against Zanshei, but one Neo-Skrall stabbed Zanshei brutally from behind, Bythalis saw Zanshei's death from his very own eyes. This put Bythalis into berserked statement and the others saw his fight against the enemy. Meratan shot fire flames at the enemy and transformed his own weapon into Inferno Sword and started to slash them back. However he saw Bythalis using Ilikari ability and punched enemies heads, joints and bones, cracking or destroying their inner structures, notwithstanding his alarming pain. Alarha threw the enemies at the others, Olarokh shooting at them with Proton Minigun and switched to Rocket Pod to firing at them, Tempu smacked metal ball at enemies' head and ran through at them and smacked their head with Yacbel bat.

The enemies has started to retreat, as they are starting to lose amount of warriors. However, the fight wasn't over, the Atrasu fire started to spread from The Shrine to forest, the furious situation has to be stopped. Bythalis ordered others to fall back, but he was hypocritical at the moment. He ran through and tried to find any survivors, but none of them would be saved, he only saw dead bodies and saw two enemies getting away. The building started to collapse and Bythalis escaped, he ran quickly away, Meratan ordered Olarokh to create an enormous sonic sphere prison around of The Shrine being on Atrasu fire. Olarokh did so, costing his large amount of his own element that it was nearly impossible to create and control. Bythalis watched The Shrine's devastation that it impacted his nightmareish past. Once more, Olarokh started to shrunk his sonic sphere prison to extinguish Atrasu fire. The survivors were terrified and shocked, Bythalis felt nullity and Meratan felt tragedy.

At morning, everyone saw the ruins of The Shrine. Atrasu fire was extinguished also by the sunlight. Before they move on, Bythalis remembered Zanshei's order that if they ever get disassemble from The Shrine, they needed to find another Zanshei called Zemdhar, Guardian of Storms. He then suggested to Meratan that they needed to meet her. Meratan accepted his request, but he had to think the route to get her temple. They prayed on the victims of The Shrine and left the deepest sympathies on them. The ambience was deep and black, like the time has slowed down again.

THE SHOCKING REVEALATION

Two months later after the incident, Meratan lead the way to Zemdhar's Ocean Temple, as he "knew" where it sight. Bythalis still has more scars open, inside of him. "I promised to my fallen friend, when I have friends, the more I care about them. The more friends you have, the more your respnsibility grows. When my friends are in danger, it is my duty to protect them at all cost. Believe myself, the trust on myself is the way how the Toa should be", Bythalis thought and scrunched his own hand, as he swore himself. Olarokh and Alarha got a bit worried about him, and Tempu was having uncomfortable impact, as he felt something was aftering them.

In the middle of road, in forest, an arrow was shot from a distance and Meratan noted and activated his Hau to create a shield, and alarmed everyone to be prepared for another battle. Everyone prepared, except they have tripped the trap, as the logs on rope swung from two directions. Meratan quit using Hau's ability and used Inferno Sword to stab one incoming log, and burning it, while Bythalis used quickly Kanohi Ilikari to punch log and blasting the log into pieces, damaging his endobones slightly.

Another ambush by enemies, everyone prepared for battle and started to defence, this time more serious and intense way. While fighting the same enemies, Bythalis was fighting few Skralls and one Teghyr, Meratan transformed his Inferno Sword into Flame Wheel Launcher and started to shoot at Bythalis. He saw from side and grabbed Teghyr and it got a few deep stabbing injuries by Meratan's attack. "What the scrap Meratan!?" Bythalis shout at him. Soon Meratan started to fight his own comrades back, planting Lava Mines willfully on ground as if one of comrades steps on it and the Lava Mine explodes and burns the triggerer. Next he started to use Inferno Sword as flamethrower and setting the forest on fire, soon he targeted at Bythalis using Inferno Sword as flamethrower and launched a large and burning fire storm at him.

However, one of comrades noticed Bythalis being danger, as he was sword fighting some Skralls and Jahlvas. She quickly used Plantilife power using trees' roots as moving her faster, and created quickly strongest roots and vines out from herself and protected Bythalis. The fire storm burned Skralls and Jahvlas and blasted the heat on Plantlife elemented being. Meratan was running out of Fire elemental energy, but it didn't last long for her that she sacrificed her life to protect him. Bythalis heard her last words, saw her turning into ashes. He felt emptyness, reminding again his dark past. Bythalis released his berserk lightning and started to be faster and cutting and stabbing the enemies.

Alarha saw Meratan's action and got serious what he was doing, she used her magnetism to levitate a couple of Teghyrs and threw at him. However Meratan noticed her thrown Teghyrs and activated Hau to create a shield. "You're the bothersome one", Meratan got annoyed and switched his Inferno Sword into Flame Wheel Launcher and fired at her. Alarha lifted some Jahvlas as shields and they got hit by Meratan's Flame Wheels, she continued to walk towards at him, as giving him a payback for killing own comrade. "You have done enough damages you Dirty Blooded Toa", Alarha berated at Meratan. Meratan prepared for killing next victim.

Meanwhile the other comrades were fighting against the enemies, Olarokh noticed Alarha fighting Meratan, but he was overly powerful and grabbed Alarha's neck and started to strangle her. Olarokh activated his Utavran ability and switched Skrall's corpse close at them. He created Sonic maze and punched at Meratan's knee and he freed Alarha and dropped her on ground. Meratan's evil stare targeted at Olarokh's eyes and switched to Inferno Sword. Olarokh dropped his The Havoc Staff (Proton Minigun/Rocket Pod Staff) and took quickly Riot Shield and Broadsword and started sword fight with Meratan. After few minutes fighting with Meratan, Olarokh tackled with Riot shield at him, unfortunately Meratan caught his Riot shield and threw it away and they fought with swords.

In other place, Bythalis and his other comrades killed enough of enemies that they started to retreat away. While thought the fight being over, he still heard Olarokh's scream from other side, as Meratan punching heavily with Fired arm, trying to damage his wires and Neo-Core. "I'm finishing you later, but first, the one who is a greater risk for me", Meratan stated at him and he grabbed Alarha's pony tail. She wasn't pleased and was angry at him, "You disgust me", Meratan scorn at Alarha and prepared to kill her with Inferno Sword. Olarokh saw him igniting Inferno Sword, but he gave a sign to Bythalis. Olarokh used Kanohi Utavran and shifted his own places with Bythalis. Bythalis as now lying on ground he took BL7-TR0N pistol and shot at Meratan's forehead mask as distracting him, and he let Alarha free again. While he was rubbing his mask, Bythalis then electrified Lighting Katana and cut extremely fast his left arm. Meratan shout in pain, his cut arm was leaking dark smoking blood, and Bythalis activated his Ilikari and gave all what he got, he punched extremely fast and heavily at Meratan's chest. With one punch, he sent Meratan blasting away and crashing at the trees. He was heavily injured.

Bythalis was so in rage that he wanted to kill him, but he already ran out his energy and fell backwards, being now very tired for battle. "I. Must. Protect. Everyone. At all. Cost..." Bythalis swore again slowly. A quarter later Alarha, Olarokh and other comrades helped him to stand up, as Bythalis was in fully conscious. He had enough of falling friends, he couldn't take it. Alarha calmed him down, and they had to move on to find Zemdhar. Later went on place where Plantlife comrade was extinguished, being burned into ashes. Bythalis took his small canister and collected her ashes into canister.

Much later at evening, before sun was setting, they were in grassy flowerfield mountains, with some cherry trees. Bythalis, Alarha, Olarokh, Tempu and others were saying deepest sympathies for the fallen hero, remembering the moments and the memories. He opened the canister and freed the ashes, all the comrades watched her ashes diving into wind road. She's in better place and they remembered her as great warrior and friend.

THE SINISTROUS PLAN

"Uugh... Where... Am I? What is... This place..." wondered Meratan, who was sitting inside of deep chamber. He saw experiments inside of glass canisters and saw The Matoran and The Doctor. "You're in experimenting chamber my patient", stated The Doctor. Meratan didn't have any idea what he was going to do, but he saw Skralls, Teghyrs and Jahvlas being nursed. "Yes, you were taken back by your injured warriors, and The Neo-Toa took you then here to heal your injuries", The Doctor told to Meratan. Meratan was reliefed that he wasn't captured by another enemy, instead he was back in original planet where they lived before, he was at the 7 walking mechanical islands, resting in one region of it.

"So The Commander knew that I was injured as well?" Meratan asked. The Doctor nodded and incoming came commander of The Neo-Toa. He was talking with Meratan that his team took him back to Spherus Magna, and Neo-Toa in Spherus Magna's desert, close at dead Teridax's robot, awaited Meratan's team arrival. The portal on Spherus Magna appeared and Neo-Toa adviced injured Skralls, Teghyrs and Jahvlas to their world, even carrying heavily damaged Meratan to their region. The commander told to Meratan about Phase 3, and Meratan gets revenge in next five thousand years. Meratan wasn't pleased about it still, but he had to become stronger, in order to defeat his arch nemesis Bythalis, and achieve his goal.

Few weeks later, The Neo-Toa brought something from Spherus Magna, from one abandoned city. They brought left amputated arm of Gravity Toa, where next The Doctor implanted to Meratan's left injured arm. Later he felt moving his "new" arm, that it was also his perfect secondary weapon for upcoming wars and battles. Meratan trained few months with his Gravity Toa's arm, creating zero-G waves, levitating objects, altered his own gravity to upside down or sideways. He soon felt Gravity element fusionizing with Fire element, and learned to alter gravity-fire's directions when he blasted gravity-fire and directing its straight line into multiple directions.

One day, Meratan talked with Commander that their plan to make invasion to Spherus Magna, to Akmoana City where Bythalis and he lived before. "Indeed, we sure made an agreement before, even before Civil War in Akmoana City", Commander stated. "You and my power, our army, our achievements. With them, we can create our new Empire in Spherus Magna", Meratan also stated and looking at huge hangar where the Neo-Toa and other Neo-beings are training and preparing for next war, vehicles, weapons and new experiments being prepared for it, in next thousand years.

Meratan's nature was thought to be pure, but as a twist, he betrayed everyone of Bythalis' team. He is very strategic Toa of Fire who can anticipate his plans to set the Fire traps and distractions. He is also know to be merciless and cruel Toa of Fire. Meratan is rather patience and vicious than hot-tempered, but sometimes his mind snaps off if little or big thing goes totally wrong. He often shows his fear and power on his minions. Meratan's arch nemesis is Bythalis and others who he has betraying before.

Powers, Weapon(s)/Tool(s) & Weaknesses
Meratan is Toa of Fire, which he can possess, create and absorb fire elemented based attacks. While he lacks perfect close-combat style, Meratan still can create fire punches or fire kicks, or he can even set his own right arm into fire and grab and burn the target by holding its neck. Because of his lost cut arm, and using Gravity Toa's arm for advantage, he can create Zero-G areas by setting specific radius and plant it on ground. Meratan is able to levitate the objects, but he can also alter his own gravity for temporary time or on the target. He is capable to alter his or targets' gravity on upside down or sideways. Or he can create force impact when he is close at the target. Meratan could create blackholes, however he never has created black hole, because he knows the risks of it. Because his own element and gravity got mixed up when The Doctor implanted Gravity Toa's arm on Meratan's cut arm. He only has found one ability to use Gravity-Fire element, firing the Gravity-Fire he can some what alter fire's directions, from straight line into altered directions. However, while he possess gravity, he only has one fifth possess on Gravity element.

Meratan equips a permament weapon on his right arm called Multifunctional Biomechanical Arm. The weapon includes four modes, Inferno Sword, Flame Wheel Launcher, Lava Mine Launcher and The Flame Reaper. With Inferno Sword, Meratan uses for melee style or use it as flamethrower. Utulizing with Flame Wheel Launcher he can shoot with fired up wheels at the targets. Meratan's favourite weapon for setting up traps, Lava Mine Launcher is designed to be launched and plant on solid ground or walls. His least useful weapon The Flame Reaper is only for hand-to-hand combat as nasty surprise, or use it as tool. Meratan's armor was designed differently, since the other Toa can activate and launch Nova Blast, he can Nova charge and blast Nova Fire Beam from his chest. His armor is heavily defenced.

Meratan greatest weaknesses is the water, which can limit his fire element. The stone and earth affects heavily on his element, as he has chance to melt rocks or minerals.
