That's the kicker! I try and warn them that their coffee will give them a nasty burn on the top of their mouths but it comes out like:
"yOur dAY iZ sOOn TO be sCaLdEd!"
In all seriousness, your work is lovely. I love the sort of 'concept art' feel of it, with the vaguely rough edges. Helps to give it character!

have you tried putting on rags and taking "the end is near" sign with you?

That is part of it's charm! I like it very much as it fits the feeling of the strip--fantasy settings, in general, lend themselves to a more 'sketchy' appearance, I think, since it makes it feel a bit more other-worldly. The lines aren't distinct and so it is more like a dream.
