Name: Fabrice Caldwell
Age: 16
Species: White American Mink

History/Description: Fabrice and Florien were raised on a fur farm, along with many others of their kind. Minks are commonly farmed for their furs, and when mink-human hybrids came to be, they were nearly immediately farmed as well. Their fur is just as soft and there is more of it, and more and more of these farms are showing up across the world.

At a young age, the children begin learning how to switch from their main form (with mink ears and a tail) to a perfectly human appearance. The process of learning often takes 10 years or so, and when they can hold the form for the peak amount of time (usually for the rest of their lives), their fur is then harvested. This process leaves their ears mutilated and their tails are often completely removed. They're instructed to then shift to their human forms and leave the ranch, to live their lives on as regular humans. In extreme cases, mind altering is used so the victims forget their time on the farm completely.

Fabrice and Florien learned of their fate at a young age, and worked hard to obtain their human forms. They had something else planned, however.

One day, the boys wrapped themselves up in thick blankets of fur from the day's harvest and hid away in the truck that was to take the fur to the warehouse. On the way, they jumped from the truck and had successfully escaped.

They lived on the streets for a short amount of time, until they were found and taken in by a woman who had recently sent her own son to a school across the ocean. Arcadium. The boys offered to pay the woman back when they got on their feet, if she would send them to this school as well. A deal was made, and so when the two finish their schooling, they'll return to America to live with this woman and work off their debt to her.

Fabrice is the more open of the two. He enjoys and often craves the attention of others. Since coming to Arcadium, he's found himself in a rather large social circle, one that often doesn't include his twin brother. While he will sometimes feel remorse for this, he can't always keep himself sad for too long, as one of his many friends will come along to raise his mood.

Fabrice has become quite attached to the dramatic arts as well as a fellow student by the name of Mathias, whom is also one of a pair of twins.

Florien is much different from his brother, at least on the outside. He comes off as a cold and depressed individual, and while the first is untrue, he can be rather depressed. After being so close with his brother in the farm, he's found himself rather shocked to be pushed aside. He's grown slightly bitter toward his older brother and has recently changed his appearance, down to his tail and ears, to try to distance himself from him.

Florien is a very academic-oriented youngster. He enjoys histories, languages and sciences. He's also grown rather fond of Mikkel, Mathias' twin.
