Alrighty y'all...here's my last piece for my Black Female Superheroine Ebony Experience Expose' Jammy Jam. And as in true Mr. Marcus fashion...I've got to end my jams with a bang! So, being that I've been all captivated and caught up in the happenings of the Deviant created universe of Angel Falls that is home to dozens of powerful heroines and villainesses alike, I figured that I'd do a piece of three of the most popular and powerful black superheroines of Angel Falls!

From left to right we've got the super-sassy and super sexy Soul Train, in the middle we have athlete/fighter extraordinaire turned superheroine/crimefighter...the charismatic cyborg Nikki Vetter aka Diamond, and on the right throwing up deuces and decked out in those snazzy specs is the powerful enigma, Dragon. The three superbabes had a little break in between fighting evil in Angel Falls to pose for this photo together...sure they're the good gals but like the title of the piece says...they're Superbad to the bone! To all of the evildoers out there in Angel Falls...you might wanna think twice about your evil plans while these three are on the prowl!

As for the artistic merit of this piece...I misjudged my distance and didn't take into account of if the whole thing would fit on my scanner...that's why parts of Soul Train and Dragon are cut off. I've added back the space on the sides and I'll correct it when I go to color it. And Nikki's left arm was also supposed to be on her left hip, but it wasn't coming out right so I just tucked behind her...hence the space between her and Dragon. Otherwise, I thought everything else came out really good...I wanted to try something new with Nikki, so I gave her a headband as opposed to her trademark ponytail. And I was watching blaxploitation flicks all last week, and I saw some of the ladies with afros have different ways that they wore their fros...I saw a foxy mama wear her hair like this in Black Dynamite and I thought I would try that look for Soul Train. I wish that I were able to add more detail to Dragon's costume, but all of her detail is on the front of her leotard and of course she's turned to the side.

I can't wait to color this one!
