Selene: "I'm 'GEAUXING' to the Super Bowl!!!!"

Angie: "Meh....looks like the only thing that you're 'geauxing' is commando! Put some pants on...If anyone gets to strut around here naked it's me, and maybe Sapphira!"

Selene: "You're just jealous that my Saints were way better than your pussycats this season!"

Angie: "Hey!!!! They're called the PANTHERS, not the pussycats! At least it didn't take my team 43 years to actually get to a Super Bowl! My team is only 16 years old, and it only took them 9 years to go to their first Super Bowl!"

Selene: "Doesn't matter how long it took us...we're there now, hater!!!!"

Angie: "That's alright....enjoy it while you can. My Panthers are gonna be back next year and we're gonna take it to the 'Aints' asses!!! We want blood! We're gonna take back our throne as the NFC South Champs next season!!!"

Selene: *chanting loudly and dancing* "WHO DAT?!!!? WHO DAT?!!!? WHO DAT SAY THEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS?!!!?"

Angie: *mumbling under her breath* "Oh bite me!!!! Waitaminute, you're a vampire! Don't bite me!!!"

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a long awaited half of an art trade between myself and my buddy (Harvey) Several months ago he did this AWESOME pic of Sapphira , which to this day is probably my favorite piece of fan art that I've received yet! I was to do his character, the sexy yet deadly vampire ninja assassin gal Selene...however, I was oddly unable to come up with some good inspiration for drawing a sexy ninja chick! As the time went on, Harvey went on to do yet another super dope pic of one of my gals...this time of Nikki I really felt like dirt, as he cranked out two amazing pics of my characters, and I was struggling to get his done.

Also, Harvey is from Louisiana...I'm from South Carolina. Harvey is a New Orleans Saints fan....I am a Carolina Panthers fan; both the Saints and the Panthers are in the same division (NFC South for those of you that don't know) which means that they are direct rivals, along with the Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. (Plus, I work for a N.O. themed restaurant and I have to put up with some really obnoxious Saints fans every Sunday that they play football! )

For those of you that are sports fans/at least familiar with sports, you'll know that as of 1/24/10 the New Orleans Saints are headed to their very first Super Bowl appearance in franchise history. When I got up on 1/25/10, I decided that I was ready to take another crack at drawing Selene for Harvey...however, instead of portray her as a ninja assassin, I would go with the football theme, plus I was in the mood to draw some good ol' cheesecake! (I did say that I was gonna do more action this year, but I never said that I was gonna completely stop with the sexy cheesecake pin-ups! ) I saw this pose in an old Maxim that I have, and I just went to town. Although her arm is blocking it, that is a Drew Brees (The Saints quarterback for those of you that aren't sports inclined) jersey that she's wearing. Me being the consummate Panthers fan, had to swallow much of my pride while drawing that jersey...but since Harv did such an amazing job on my gals, I figured I'd suck it up and do something that I knew that he'd enjoy!

BUT, I couldn't let this one go w/o throwing Angie in the picture! For those of you that have been watching me, you know that Angie is my hardcore Panthers fan, as she's been featured in some pics representing her squad! I was gonna add Angie in this one Chibi-style showing her disapproval in the little bubble, but I've seen that Chibi-style tons of times...I decided to draw Angie and her jealous envy in Simpsons style!!!! Not to mention, she's a little jealous that Selene is looking really sexy right here, and that's usually reserved for her and Sapphira! I figured I'd throw her in there for some witty banter and trash-talking between the two!

And for those of you wondering, GEAUX is pronounced GO...it's the Creole way of saying GEAUX Saints! A few months ago when the Panthers and the Saints met for the first time this season, I was teasing Harvey saying that it's spelled G-O, not G-E-A-U-X! I was humbled, as in that first meeting, they beat my Panthers! However, the Panthers beat them in the last game of the regular season!
