Garrosh, you were an DISHONORABLE Warchief!!

You bombed a peaceful Place in Stonetalon Mountains into Dust,
You bombed Theramore and turned one of the most peaceful Human Individuals into a passionate Horde-Hater,

You disregarded the Way of the traditional Orc Warrior and became a ruthless Fiend blindly searching nothing but Power.
Absolutely shameful. You disgraced your Fathers Legacy!! At least Grommash only made a Mistake. "You" however ... ...

Excuse me for playing the demon's advocate but...
The bombing ofΒ Thal'darah Grove was not a command issued by Garrosh but rather the actions of the overeager Overlord Krom'gar, whom Garrosh himself executed the second he learned of what the foolish orc had done.

As for Theramore... yes, i will concede that one. I personally would say that luring so many of the enemy's greatest generals to a single location & eradicating them all would be a clever tactic, this would've been if it wasn't in the world of Azeroth where honor is so highly valued (Especially in the Horde & by the orcs) & the fact there were some civilians whom died in the explosion. (Thankfully no children, elderly or weak due to the actions of Bane Bloodhoof, whom warned Jaina of the attack beforehand.)

As for disgracing his father's legacy & the Horde as a whole? Yes, he certainly did. While i will say that the leaders of the Horde did contribute to his fall, Garrosh' actions are his own & so he must answer to them as anyone else would. Shameful indeed...

To be fair,

Garrosh was bad - but Sylvanas is FAR worse

Both are bad... but yes, i would have to agree what Sylvanas is a tad worse than Garrosh.
It's frightening how similar she's become to the Lich King as of late. Heck, even Garrosh himself called her out on it when she casually used the Blight to kill citizens of Gilneas & resurrect them into the ranks of the Forsaken. And that's not even adressing her use of the Blight during the Siege of Lordrean, killing her own Horde troops & using their corpses as fodder against the Alliance!

But i guess you were mostly adressing the burning of Teldrassil?
I agree; it was a atrocity. But as many things are with Sylvanas; they have a reason behind them. The invasion was meant to deliver a deep wound upon the Alliance to splinter them from within; Take Teldrassil & kill Malfurion. The former to put pressure upon the Alliance's leadership & the latter to rid them of hope. In their desperate state, they would find themselfs on uneven ground. The desperate Night elves of course would push for retaking Teldrassil no matter the cost whereas the Worgen & others would want to take the fight to the Horde. This following other pressures Sylvanas & the Horde could've applied later might've been enough for the Alliance to become divided. All that would be left then would be to conquer.
But a wrench was thrown into those plans: Malfurion lived.
Saurfang spared his life as he felt he did not deserve that honor after he dealt the archdruid a dishonorable blow from behind. He stood aside as Tyrande came along & saved her beloved, teleporting herself & Malfurion to Stormwind with the use of a Heartstone. This... was not the intended goal of Sylvanas. They had leverage on the Alliance, but they had hope. That hope would keep the Alliance from splintering & keep them a united force against the Horde.
And so it was that Sylvanas had to find another way to rid them of hope... and so was Teldrassil put to the torch.

Reasoning is sound... but the act itself is a crime beyond measure. Garrosh too is responsible for his share of atrocities against nature, but most can be saved or undone, even the damage he dealt to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. The World Tree Teldrassil will never recover & nor will it undo the countless lives that needlessly burnt to ashes in the wake of the inferno that Warchief Sylvanas had begun.
She hasn't yet dabbled in the powers of Mogu or Old God, but she certainly would if it meant victory for the Forsaken. Sylvanas has once again reminded the world that there is nothing too dark for her to consider to ensure her goals are achieved. Maybe the Horde will prosper under her rule... but it will be a Horde not ruled through a united sense of brotherhood & honor, but by the common goal of victory at any cost.
Let us hope the rest of the Horde realise this & give Sylvanas the same treatment they did to the last Warchief that disgraced the Horde in such a manner.
