In a way, Kalypso represents a mix of all four of her subordinates: Alekhild’s desire to conquer and be ruthless as she’s always looking out to become to best and the prove that she’s the best in terms of battle abilities; Yazgar’s intelligence and observant nature due in part to her desire to find artifacts and many require a keen intellect, not to mention Eistree’s Jovial and easy going manner and Lady Nytre’s desire to fight strong opponents. Despite her personality traits and despite how she looks like the final boss of a video game, Kalypso is deep within a person who will appreciate the friends she makes and will be kind to them. Often times she may even worry losing friends too but is often at odds on her reputation as a demon. Constantly stressed about the issues surrounding the status of hell in her universe, she often sees herself as a mother to anybody that is “cut from the same cloth”.

As she loves to dabble in being a shopkeeper out of her duties, she can be very persuasive, whether that may be in showing off her dazzling body or dominating the person into submission. Another aspect of her personality lies with her insecurities. Yes despite how much she lauds at herself as a divine figure, she is often insecure around other deities’ company. She thinks they would think the worst of her, especially of her demonic powers and she often feels like she has to prove herself to them. She often thinks about the wellbeing of her subordinates, while she gives them orders here and there she does do her best to sweeten their lives with rewards and boons. If her subordinates are away on a mission, Kaly will not hesitate to join the fray herself for protection or to do her own dirty work. In these sorts of situations Kalypso may make the mistake of overestimating her own abilities but her avatars are expendable. As seen in her Eldrich Physiology, she can always whip an aspect of her as soon as it’s destroyed as if she never really “died” for as long as her true form exsists.

Kalypsoian Deals: Yes she’s vain enough to remove the word Faustian, but she enjoys making a deal with someone for untold amounts of power! Now there’s always a catch to these. Unlike a monkey’s paw through, not all of her deals come with a draw back. If you wish for money you will gain that money, but depending on her deal you may have to part with having to do a mission for her or needing to surrender some essence of herself in order for her to craft a new avatar. If she does not put in a debilitating risk to a deal the power of said deal with significantly diminish. For example she can only offer people money up to a certain point. Though the risk can be changed into something less extreme if she likes the person enough. Even with a powerful risk, there are limits that even she can’t do. She can’t as an example just snap her fingers and deem someone an immortal ruler of a world and change everyone’s mind into obedience.
Curse manipulation: She can create, shape and manipulate curses and hexes. The nature of a curse is defined by a “progressive change that is different from a person that is a detriment in some way". Given this manipulation Kalypso can progressively make someone fatter to decrease their speed or increase one's rage in order to shrink their thoughts in a battle or a situation. One can link the drawbacks to her curse manipulation to her Kalypsoian deals: the stronger the debilitating aspect, the faster it will run out.

Darkness Manipulation: (From Superpower wikia) She can create, shape and manipulate darkness and shadows. By itself, darkness is mostly used to cloud everything into total darkness, but by accessing a dimension of dark energy it can be channeled to a variety of effects, both as an absence of light and a solid substance: one can also control and manipulate the beings that exist there, create and dispel shields and areas of total darkness, create constructs and weapons, teleport one's self through massive distances via shadows, etc.

Fire Manipulation: (From Superpower Wikia) can create, shape and manipulate fire, the rapid oxidation of a material in the exothermic chemical process of combustion, releasing heat, light, and various reaction products, flame being the visible portion of the fire. Depending on the substances alight, and any impurities outside, the color of the flame and the fire's intensity will be different.

Keiqu Creation: Believed and confirmed to be the genetic offspring of dragons and demons, this race of creatures were the first to be radiated by the Etheris from the Demon Emperor’s machinations of uplifting demonkind. Cataloguing every single Keiqu into one set of characteristics is impossible but an unknown chronicler has written out the theory that a progenitor of the species a “Mother”, if one will succinctly state, was the first to be irradiated; this progenitor Keiqu was able to switch between a dragon form and what one would paradoxically describe as ‘structured chaos’. The theory goes on to state that Keiqus can shift from a dragon, a human form and an embodiment of their element or energy imbued into them. Since the dissemination of the Netherworld and its energies, Keiqus have spread out like wildfire into other infernal realms, easily integrated into such societies. Flaws: She has a highly competitive nature and as such will always want to do a competition no matter what it may be. Her pride like many a powerful demon can be her downfall and may miss an opportunity to finish off an opponent. She will gladly do her best to protect her compatriots, whether that may be to sacrifice her avatar or not. She has a strong belief in balance much to the chagrin of her other aspects and will lower herself to make things fair due to her confidence that no matter what, she’ll win in the end. As said before and often throughout her biography she is vain and treats herself with the excess of care, dotting onto compliments from people that may blind sight her. As a dragon, while she is formidable there are ways to keep her from fighting; one of the bigger ones is asking a dragon a riddle or handing Kalypso a ton of gold. She believes the richer you are the stronger you become.

After her father’s mysterious death, Kalypso traveled throughout the different planets in search of magical artifacts to create her own. But what is the purpose of this collection? To somehow reincarnate her father? To take over the UNIVERSE!?... nope, just to sell them for tons of cash! Despite having an excess of power and can just create money, she finds the drive of gaining money to be a fascinating passion. Alas as the strongest demon in her realm often times she must take care of the demonic populous and make sure that humankind isn’t accosted TOO much by them.

    -          Kalypso was originally conceived as a koopa and my gallery can contain said look. It is an optional look but I’ve grown attached to this new look. Much more sleek and it’ll help people take her more seriously in her endeavors.
