that's incredible looking. what kind of flower is it? i have a bet going with my brother, and I'm betting this is an actual flower. Am I right? Or should I be sad and owe him a sandwich?

It is a flower, you can read more on wikipedia, the genus is Allium, the exact species I think is Allium Hybrid or Allium Cepa. I'm glad you like the pic
